Additional platform for a working platform
A working device for carrying out fitting or maintenance work in an elevator shaft includes at least one working platform having a standing surface and a railing. The standing surface affords space for at least one person and the railing at least partially encloses the standing surface. The working device also includes at least one additional platform that is attachable to the railing of the working platform, and wherein the additional platform affords an additional standing surface for at least one person. The additional standing surface is arranged above the railing of the working platform.
Elevator component inspection systems
Elevator systems and methods are provided. The systems include an elevator car including an elevator car door interlock device operable to open and close elevator car doors and a plurality of landing doors located at landings, each landing door including a landing door interlock device operable to open and close a respective landing door. Each landing door interlock device is engageable by the elevator car door interlock device to operate the elevator doors. An elevator component inspection system having a detector to monitor the interlock devices obtains inspection data associated with the interlock devices. A control unit is configured to analyze the inspection data. The component inspection system captures images of the interlock devices using the detector, performs a database inquiry comparing the captured image against a database of interlock device states, and determines a state of the interlock devices.
MOUNTING FRAME FOR DISPLACING AND FIXING IN A SHAFT
A mounting frame for displacing and fixing in a shaft includes a support component for support against a first shaft wall during displacement in the shaft and is arranged on a main frame so as to be at least partially movable in a fixing direction relative to the main frame. The support component can assume a fixing position and a displacement position, with no part of a support surface being spaced further outward in the fixing direction, i.e. toward the first shaft wall, from the main frame in the fixing position than a fixing surface of a primary fixing component that is used to fix the mounting frame in the shaft, and the support surface is spaced further outward from the main frame in the fixing direction in the displacement position than the fixing surface.
Device and method for monitoring a maintenance mode of an elevator installation
A control unit, an elevator-monitoring apparatus and a method are used to monitor a maintenance mode of an elevator installation. The control unit has a controller and a memory device, wherein the controller receives a first signal when a locking device of shaft door is locked and receives a second signal when the locking device is unlocked. The controller compares a chronological signal sequence of first signals and second signals with a reference sequence stored in the memory device for actuation of the locking device and, if the signal sequence of the first signals and second signals matches the reference sequence, ends the maintenance mode and releases a car of the elevator installation for a traveling operation.
Elevator encoder diagnostic system and diagnostic method
The present invention provides an elevator encoder diagnostic system and an elevator encoder diagnostic method by which input and output ports are kept from being occupied, functional restriction is suppressed, and abnormalities and malfunctions occurring in encoders provided in a dual-system can be detected. The elevator encoder diagnostic system according to the present invention includes a first encoder 16a and a second encoder 16b that are provided on a rotary portion of the elevator, a first diagnostic unit 21a connected to the first encoder, and a second diagnostic unit 21b connected to the second encoder, a first determination unit 23a and a second determination unit 23b that detect differences between encoder rotation amounts of the respective encoder systems and rotation detection signals of the other encoder systems, and, if a difference therebetween exceeds a predetermined threshold, determines that an abnormality has occurred.
DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE AND DIAGNOSTIC ANALYSIS DEVICE FOR VERTICAL TRANSPORTATION DEVICES
There is provided a diagnostic device for vertical transportation devices, which can obtain information for appropriately diagnosing a vertical transportation device. The diagnostic device for vertical transportation devices includes a housing-unit that defines an outer profile, a storage-unit that is housed in the housing-unit and stores information, an acceleration-detection-unit that is housed in the housing-unit and detects, with the housing-unit attached to a moving object in the vertical transportation device, acceleration in a vertical direction and acceleration in a horizontal direction of the moving object as diagnostic information of the moving object in the vertical transportation device when the moving object has moved, and a control-unit that is housed in the housing-unit and causes the storage-unit to store information about the acceleration in the vertical direction and information about the acceleration in the horizontal direction, which have been detected by the acceleration-detection-unit, in association with information about a detection timing.
MOBILE CONTROL UNIT AND METHOD FOR REMOTELY CONTROLLING AN ELEVATOR INSTALLATION
A mobile control unit and a method remotely control an elevator installation in an inspection mode, wherein the elevator installation includes an elevator car, an elevator controller and a safety circuit. The elevator controller automatically controls the elevator car for movement in a normal mode of the elevator installation when the safety circuit is electrically closed. In order to control the elevator installation, the mobile control unit is connected to the elevator installation such that the mobile control unit can switch the elevator installation between the normal mode and the inspection mode, and the elevator car can be manually controlled for movement via the mobile control unit in the inspection mode of the elevator installation.
Maintenance of passenger carrying system
The present invention relates to maintenance of a passenger transport system. An apparatus for maintaining a passenger transport system according to the present invention includes a wireless beacon and a personal mobile terminal. The wireless beacon is mounted substantially at a registration entrance for entering the passenger transport system to perform a maintenance operation and configured to broadcast a wireless signal to the surrounding area. The personal mobile terminal is carried by the maintenance operator and configured to sense the wireless signal when the maintenance operator approaches the wireless beacon. At least one of the wireless beacon and the personal mobile terminal is configured to automatically generate and send, based on successful sensing of the wireless signal by the personal mobile terminal, maintenance register information indicating that the corresponding maintenance operator has checked into a maintenance operation process. The present invention can significantly simplify the check-in operation.
Elevator display systems
Elevator cars are provided herein. The elevator cars include a wall panel defining part of a passenger space of the elevator car, two or more receiving rails arranged on an exterior of the wall panel, and an elevator display system having a viewing panel and an enclosure housing a display screen. The viewing panel is mounted to the wall panel on an interior of the wall panel and the enclosure is engageable with the receiving rails on the exterior of the wall panel such that the display screen is movably positioned relative to the viewing panel to be viewable from within the passenger space in an installed position.
Creation of a blockchain for maintenance records using identification tags
A blockchain maintenance record system for managing maintenance records of a system, the blockchain maintenance record system including: a part identification tag configured to be located on a part; an application operable through a mobile computing device, the mobile computing device being configured to read the part identification tag, wherein the application is configured to perform operations including; determining a part identity of the part by reading the part identification tag; detecting a location of the system; organizing the part identity of the part and the location of the part into a maintenance data package receipt; and uploading the maintenance data package receipt into a blockchain network.
