Performer lift

A performer lift has abase portion (10) and an extension portion (12). The base portion (10) comprises a platform (16) and a lifting mechanism (18). The extension portion (12) is attachable to the base portion (10) to extend the height of the performer lift. The extension portion (12) allows a performer lift to be provided having a desired height. The performer lift can therefore be adapted to be used in different stage sets, by reusing the same base portion (10) and attaching different extension portions (12), having different heights.

BUILDING-ATTACHABLE MOVING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF A MOBILITY

A building-attachable moving system includes a mobility including a coupling device coupled to outside and an internal space becoming, when the mobility is coupled to an external surface of a building by the coupling device, a portion of an indoor space of the building, and a moving device including a guide member dividing the external surface of the building into areas and driving modules coupled to be movable along the guide member, the moving device moving the mobility from one area to another on the external surface as the deriving modules move, wherein the coupling device is provided in plurality, some of the coupling devices are decoupled when the mobility moves from a current area to a moving area, the driving modules of the current area are moved, the decoupled coupling devices are coupled with the driving modules of the moving area, and the mobility moves to the moving area.

COMPACT PORTABLE LIFT ASSEMBLY

A knockdown, portable lift is relatively compact and lightweight for transport and use where there is no existing means for lifting a load between a lower surface and an upper surface or where the existing means cannot be used. Components of the lift are stored in a base portion of the lift and are assembled on site for forming a lift frame extending between the upper and lower surfaces. A platform and drive assembly are supported on the lift frame and are driven together up and down tracks on each side of the lift frame using a rotary drive, such as a hand crank or electric motor, to power the drive assembly. The drive assembly is operable by a person on or off the platform from either the upper or lower surface or traversing stairs over which the platform is moving. The drive assembly incorporates a unique overspeed braking system and a unique clutch arrangement.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR CONSTRUCTING GLASS FURNACE STRUCTURES

Methods and apparatus for constructing refractory structures, e.g., glass furnace regenerator structures and/or glass furnace structures having walls formed of refractory block and buck stays externally supporting the walls are provided. Opposed pairs of supports are connected to at least a respective one of the vertically oriented buck stays with cross-support beams spanning the refractory structure between a respective pair of the supports. An overhead crane assembly is supported by the cross-support beams. In such a manner, refractory components of the refractory structure (e.g., refractory wall blocks and/or refractory checker bricks) may be installed using the overhead crane assembly.
