DYNAMIC CAPACITATIVE POWER TRANSFER SYSTEM FOR A TRACKED VEHICLE
A dynamic capacitive power transfer system for an elevator that can realize the real-time powering of the elevator when it is in the moving status. It includes a metal track along the building side as the power transmitter and a piece of metal at the elevator side as the power receiver. There is a gap between the transmitter and receiver, and up to kW power can be transferred wirelessly and efficiently to serve the air conditioner, lightning, and other electronic devices in the moving car. The steel wheels and ropes may be used to connect the moving car to the earth ground, which contributes to form the current returning loop. It eliminates the electric cables and the corresponding flexible cable carrier system for the linear movement.
ELEVATOR CAR WITH FOLDABLE WORKING PLATFORM
An elevator car defining an interior space for accommodating passengers and/or cargo, comprising a support frame positioned above the interior space, a working platform moveable between a stowed position, above the interior space, and an operational position, within the interior space and at least one extendable suspension arrangement arranged to suspend the working platform from the support frame. The extendable suspension arrangement includes a connection plate, a first arm member connected at a first end to the support frame and slidably connected to a first connection point of the connection plate and a second arm member connected at another first end to the working platform and slidably connected to a second connection point of the connection plate.
Car for an elevator in an elevator shaft
A car for an elevator in an elevator shaft is suspended substantially in the center of gravity thereof at least in a ratio of 2:1 by a carrying apparatus guided via pulleys and is guided through car guides. The car has a car base, a car roof and car walls that define a passenger space. For using the car in a machine room-free elevator, to provide a shaft cross-section as large as possible and to reduce the required shaft pit depth and/or the required shaft head height, at least a first part of one of the pulleys is located between the car base and the car roof and a second part of the pulley is located in the car base or at the same height as the car base or in the car roof or at the same height as the car roof.
Elevator doorway display systems for elevator cars
Elevator systems including an elevator car having a first elevator car door and an openable ceiling, the openable ceiling comprising a ceiling frame and an openable panel, the openable panel moveable from an open position to a closed position relative to the ceiling frame, an imaging device mounted to the openable panel and configured to capture image data of a detection zone that includes at least an opening formed by the first elevator car door when the openable panel is in the closed position, and a display located within the elevator car to display an image associated with the image data received from the imaging device. The openable panel is openable to create an access way that permits access from an interior of the elevator car to a top exterior of the elevator car.
Lifting device and operating method thereof
This disclosure provides a lifting device, comprising: guide rails extending through a plurality of floors in vertical direction, a lift car frame that is liftably connected to the guide rails, a tray that is detachably connected to the lift car frame, a tray circulation assembly that is mounted on each floor, the tray being detachably connectable to the tray circulation assembly and the tray circulation assembly being used for docking the tray connected thereto on the floor where the tray circulation assembly is mounted or for enabling the tray connected thereto to be connected to the lift car frame. This disclosure further provides a method of operating the lifting device.
Arrangement for evacuating persons from an elevator car
An arrangement for evacuating persons from an elevator car includes a tread element, which tread element delimits a lower end of an evacuation passage of the elevator car, and a walkway having a first end, wherein the walkway can be fixed, preferably hooked, on the tread element by the first end. The arrangement includes at least one rung that can be fixed above the tread element, wherein the rung is usable as a tread step and the first end of the walkway can alternatively be fixed or hooked on the rung instead of on the tread element.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM VENTILATION
An elevator ventilation system comprising an ultraviolet source that illuminates elevator system air blown through an illumination chamber, and an air filter that filters the air as it flows through the chamber. The ultraviolet source is blocked from view from outside the illumination chamber. An air curtain emitter may expel a curtain of air across the elevator doorway, limiting air communication between an elevator interior and the elevator landing when elevator doors are open. An air outlet may be shaped to receive an elevator light fixture and to expel air into the elevator interior via an aperture adjacent the light fixture. An air curtain emitter may comprise an air outlet slot shaped to expel a curtain of air separating an interior of the elevator car into at least two air compartments defined by the “barrier” of the air curtain.
Elevator car
An elevator car has a pivotable balustrade mounted on a roof of the elevator car and which can be pivoted between a folded-down position and an erected position. To secure the erected position, the balustrade has a locking mechanism by which the balustrade can be locked via a latching connection during a pivoting movement to produce the erected position. The balustrade includes a two-part post with a lower post part and an upper post part, the upper post part being pivotably fastened to the lower post part and on which the locking mechanism is arranged. A latching element of the locking mechanism is mounted vertically on the lower post part so as to be displaceable to a limited degree. The locking mechanism further has an actuating element in the form of a foot pedal or a lever for unlocking the locking position.
AIR STERILIZING ELEVATOR CAB AND METHODS
An elevator cab and method of sterilizing the air of an elevator comprising, a plenum configured to fluidly connect to an interior of the elevator cab, at least one intake formed in the side walls of the elevator cab and in fluid communication with the plenum, a fan configured to draw air from the elevator cab via the intake duct and the plenum, and a kill box, including a source of ultraviolet C (UVC) light, and configured to receive air via the fan, wherein the UVC light is configured to sterilize air removed from the elevator cab.
Elevator seismic performance apparatus
An elevator car of an elevator system includes a car body, and a car frame supportive of the car body. The car frame includes two or more opposing upright assemblies, a crosshead assembly located above the car body, and a plank assembly located below the car body. A plurality of seismic retainers are located at each of the upright assemblies. The plurality of seismic retainers are configured for a non-contact relationship with a guide rail of the elevator system during normal operation of the elevator system, and configured to react guide rail loads during a sway event via contact with the guide rail.
