ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
20230089131 · 2023-03-23 ·

Methods, systems, and devices for monitoring air quality and controlling air purification in an environment are described herein. The method can include receiving from a device a plurality of air quality parameters for the environment and receiving an indication representing a potential change in occupancy in the environment. In response to the indication of a potential change in occupancy, the method can include determining an air quality target that is based at least in part on at least one air quality parameter in the plurality of air quality parameters and the potential change in occupancy. The air quality parameter can be representative of the quality of air to be achieved in the environment for the change in occupancy. The method can include transmitting instructions to control purification in the environment based at least in part on the air quality target.

Elevator pad assembly
11608249 · 2023-03-21 ·

An improved elevator pad assembly includes a plurality of closely spaced, flexible loops secured to the backside of a protective elevator pad, preferably within the upper margin near the top edge of the pad. In one embodiment, the loops are formed as part of a narrow mounting strip affixed to the back cover of the pad. Each loop lies hidden from view below the upper edge of the pad, and remains hidden from view even when fastened to a wall stud or other mounting hardware affixed to the elevator cab walls or ceiling. The flexible loops eliminate the need for grommets and make it easy to mount the pad assembly on elevator cab mounting hardware, allowing the elevator pad to be neatly positioned against the wall without bunching or sagging.

Elevator car system and method for mounting an elevator car roof comprising at least one toe board to uprights
11479445 · 2022-10-25 · ·

An elevator car roof includes two toe boards for mounting the elevator car roof at a mounting position to uprights of an elevator car. Each of the toe boards has projecting brackets for holding the elevator car roof at the uprights in the mounting position. Each of the uprights includes a slot for receiving one of the projecting brackets when the elevator car roof is held in the mounting position by the uprights. The projecting brackets and the slots can be formed to prevent a wrong orientation of the elevator car roof relative to the uprights.

ELEVATOR CAR FOR A DOUBLE-DECK ELEVATOR
20220332545 · 2022-10-20 ·

A double-deck elevator car has first and second vertically spaced cars each accessible via a different floor in a stop position, a car frame with at least one longitudinal support, a first support structure in the frame supporting the first car, a second support structure in the frame supporting the second car, and a linear guide movably coupling the first support structure to the longitudinal support. The linear guide has at least one rail element fastened to the longitudinal support, and at least one coupling element slidably mounted on the rail element and fastened to the first support structure. The coupling element has first and second mounting portions mounting on the rail element and a fastening portion fastening the coupling element to the first support structure. A drive moves the first support structure relative to the second support structure.

Elevator car and method of making same

An elevator car for transporting people and goods and having a floor panel, at least three side panels, and a roof panel together forming a door opening. The floor panel, at least one side panel, and the roof panel are unitarily formed of a thermoplastic synthetic resin. A force-spreading element substantially more rigid than the panels is fixed in or on an face of one of the side panels or the roof panel. A hoist system for the car is fixed by fasteners to the load-spreading element.

Elevator system accommodating elevator cars having different sizes

The invention refers to an elevator system having a plurality of elevator cars, which elevator cars comprise several first cars and at least one second car, which second car differs from the first cars in its size and/or technical configuration, whereby the first cars and the second car run together within one and the same elevator shaft, which elevator system comprises an elevator control comprising a call allocation control having a first part connected to at least one call input device for allocating the first elevator cars and a second part connected to at least one call issuing means for the call allocation of the second car, whereby the first and second part of the call allocation control are configured to work independently of each other.

Elevator maintenance space projection systems
11465880 · 2022-10-11 · ·

Elevator maintenance space projection systems and elevator systems including a projector located within an elevator shaft and arranged to project a display space within the elevator shaft such that the display space includes one or more projected images identifying at least one of a safety volume, a refuge space, and a maintenance location.

Double deck elevator with linear actuator adjustment mechanism

An illustrative example elevator assembly includes a header beam and a first elevator cab supported by the header beam. A plurality of vertically oriented rods extend beneath the first elevator cab. A horizontally oriented mid-beam is coupled to a first one of the rods near a first end of the mid-beam and coupled to a second one of the rods near a second end of the mid-beam. A second elevator cab is situated beneath the first elevator cab and beneath the mid-beam. At least one linear actuator is supported at least partially on the mid-beam. The linear actuator selectively causes vertical movement of the second elevator cab relative to the rods.

Elevator sound systems

Elevator systems including an elevator car moveable within an elevator shaft, the elevator car having a first elevator car component, the first elevator car component having a first side facing an interior of the elevator car and a second side opposite from the first side and a structural sound-generation system. The structural sound-generation system having at least one audio actuator coupled to the second side of the first elevator car component and an audio system controller in communication with the at least one audio actuator. The structural sound-generation system is configured to generate vibrations within the first elevator car component such that sound waves are produced therefrom and projected into the interior of the elevator car.
