BLOCKING ASSEMBLY, ELEVATOR SYSTEM
A blocking assembly for a leaf of an elevator door comprises a translation guide, a first leaf carriage mounted slidably to the translation guide between a first position and a second position, a latch connected to the translation guide and rotatable between a blocking configuration of the first leaf carriage in an intermediate position wherein the latch intercepts and blocks the carriage against the guide, and a configuration for releasing the carriage wherein the carriage is free to slide to the second position, latch return means in the blocking configuration, and first coupling means connected to the first leaf carriage and to the latch. When the carriage is in the first position, the first coupling means are coupled together to keep the latch in the release configuration, in contrast to the action of the return means. When the carriage is in the intermediate position, the first coupling means are uncoupled so that the latch is moved by the return means into the blocking configuration.
ELEVATOR DOOR SENSOR ARRANGEMENT
An elevator door sensor arrangement including: a position sensor configured to determine a configuration of an elevator door of an elevator car; an auxiliary sensor configured to monitor for an object in a sensing region outside of the elevator car, the region being an approach to the elevator car; and a door sensor controller configured to output a signal to a door controller indicating that an object has been sensed by the auxiliary sensor in the sensing region, wherein the sensing region is altered in size and/or location based on the configuration of the elevator door as determined by the position sensor.

Monitoring system, elevator door system having monitoring system, and method
A sill gap monitoring system includes a sensor assembly configured to sense a sill gap between an elevator sill and at least one of a bottom surface of an elevator door and a bottom surface of a gib. The sill gap monitoring system generates an alert when the sill gap is greater than a sill gap limit.

ELEVATOR DOOR SENSOR FUSION, FAULT DETECTION, AND SERVICE NOTIFICATION
A system for elevator door sensor fusion, fault detection, and service notification is provided. The system includes a processor and a memory including computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations include monitoring outputs of a plurality of sensors. It is determined whether the outputs of the plurality of sensors follow an expected pattern. Based at least in part on determining that the outputs of the plurality of sensors do not follow the expected pattern: identifying a sensor in the plurality of sensors that is not following the expected pattern, and transmitting a notification indicating that the sensor is exhibiting unexpected behaviour.

ELEVATOR CAR APRON
Elevator systems are provided. The elevator systems include an elevator car movable along an elevator shaft having a pit floor and a shaft top, the elevator car having a car door lock arranged to enable opening of doors by a landing door lock mechanism when the elevator car is located at a landing and an elevator safety system. The elevator safety system includes a car door lock securing device arranged to prevent manual opening of the elevator car doors when in a first state and permits opening of the elevator car doors when in a second state and a car apron affixed to the car door sill and operable from a stowed state to a deployed state, wherein when the car apron transitions from the stowed state to the deployed state, the car door lock securing device is transitioned from the first state to the second state.

Unlocking device, elevator system having an unlocking device, and method for actuating an unlocking device
An unlocking device with an actuator releases a safety cover of a maintenance opening for opening. The locking device has a safety circuit for actuating the actuator. The safety circuit includes at least one first switching contact and a second switching contact arranged in series, wherein the actuator in a closed state of the first and the second switching contacts is connected by the safety circuit with a power source, and the first switching contact can be switched by a control unit. One or more of the unlocking device can be used in an elevator system.
