Lift car for a lift installation and method for opening and closing a door opening
An elevator car for an elevator installation may include at least one side wall having a doorway and an elevator car door. For opening and/or closing the doorway, the elevator car door can be moved at least partially parallel to the side wall on an outside of the side wall. In opening and/or closing, the elevator car door can be moved at least partially in a direction perpendicular to the side wall. In the closing process, the elevator car door can be at least partially sunk in the doorway. A coupling element may couple the elevator car door to a shaft door in at least one of opening or closing the elevator car door.
ELEVATOR TRENCH DRAIN
A trench drain includes a trench, a grating seat and a grating hingedly connected to the trench. The trench has a base wall with peripheral side walls extending upwardly therefrom and an outwardly-extending peripheral flange. The grating seat is configured to receive the grating. The peripheral side walls of the trench have a pair of opposing elongated slots formed therein and the grating has a pair of posts on opposing ends thereof. Each of the pair of posts on the grating are received in a respective one of the pair of opposing elongated slots of the trench to establish an axis of rotation.
Elevator landing door unlocking system
Elevator door coupling systems are described. The systems include a car door lock having a coupling element and a lock element, the lock element operably connected to a latch for locking the car door lock and a landing door lock having a movable plate, a first contact element mounted to the movable plate and configured to engage with the coupling element and a second contact element configured to engage with the lock element. In operation, the coupling element is operable to apply force to the first contact element and cause the movable plate to rotate and as the movable plate rotates, the second contact element applies force to the lock element to urge the latch from a locked position to an unlocked position.
