Method and elevator arrangement
A method of manufacturing an elevator includes installing a movable supporting platform and an elevator car in the elevator hoistway; taking the elevator car into use to serve passengers and/or to transport goods; removing the elevator car from use; changing the service range of the elevator car to reach higher up in the elevator hoistway by lifting the supporting platform higher up in the elevator hoistway; and taking the elevator car back into use. The elevator is reeved to include construction-time hoisting roping, which includes one or more ropes, the longitudinal power transmission capacity of which is based at least essentially on non-metallic fibers in the longitudinal direction of the rope. In the method, guide rails to be fixed with guide rail brackets can additionally be installed by the aid of an installation device. An elevator arrangement can be used to perform the method.
Elevator refurbishing method
In an elevator refurbishing method in which a hydraulic elevator in which a hydraulic jack is installed in an equipment installation zone is refurbished into a machine-roomless elevator that uses a two-to-one (2:1) roping method, the equipment installation zone being a region inside a hoistway on either a left side or a right side of a car when viewed from directly above, at least one guide rail from a pair of counterweight guide rails is installed in the equipment installation zone while leaving the hydraulic jack in position, the hydraulic jack is removed from the hoistway, the hoisting machine is installed in a lower portion of the equipment installation zone using a space that is created by removal of the hydraulic jack, and a car return sheave and a counterweight return sheave are installed on an upper portion of the counterweight guide rails.
METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING AN ELEVATOR
A method for constructing an elevator into a destination location from a plurality of prefabricated elevator modules includes fabricating a plurality of elevator modules, in particular at a location apart from said destination location. The fabricating includes providing one or more module frames having a longitudinal axis; positioning one or more of the module frames in horizontally oriented position, wherein in the horizontally oriented position the longitudinal axis is horizontal; and while the one or more module frames are in the horizontal position, performing installation work on said one or more module frames. The method includes arranging the modules into the destination location on top of each other such that said modules are in a vertically oriented position.
Elevator traction machine installation apparatus and elevator traction machine installation method
An elevator traction machine installation apparatus includes a lifting mechanism having a base portion and a load-bearing portion adapted to place an elevator traction machine, the base and load-bearing portions are connected and can rise and lower relative to each other in a longitudinal direction of an elevator hoistway; and a support mechanism configured to be detachably connected with the lifting mechanism and a base for installation of a machine-room-less elevator traction machine in the elevator hoistway to support the lifting mechanism and the elevator traction machine, and having at least two positions at which the base portion is secured, a first position is lower than a second position in the longitudinal direction, and the load-bearing portion is lifted relative to the base portion after the base portion is secured at the first position, and continues to be lifted relative to the base portion.
Drive system for an elevator installation, elevator installation, and method for installing a drive on a support element of an elevator installation
A drive system for an elevator installation includes a drive and a drive suspension for fastening the drive to a support element of the elevator installation. The drive suspension has a rotary joint for tiltably mounting the drive on the support element and an adjustment device for setting a tilt of the drive about the rotary joint.
Apparatus for elevator drive assembly
An apparatus (10) for connecting a drive assembly (4) to a bedplate (2) of an elevator system. The apparatus (10) includes a first support (14) for mounting a motor (6) of the drive assembly (4) to the bedplate (2). The apparatus (10) further includes a second support (16) for mounting a brake unit (8) of the drive assembly (4) to the bedplate (2). The first support (14) and the second support (16) are separate parts.
Method for constructing an elevator, guide rail installation apparatus, guide rail installation arrangement and method for installing a guide rail of an elevator
The invention relates to a method for constructing an elevator including installing an elevator car, a counterweight, guide rail lines, a hoisting machine in a first position, and a first hoisting roping, connecting the first hoisting roping to the elevator car and counterweight; and transporting the elevator car vertically in the hoistway; removing the hoisting machine from the first position and disconnecting the first hoisting roping from the elevator car and counterweight; installing the hoisting machine, in a higher second position, and a second roping, connecting the second hoisting roping to the elevator car and counterweight; and transporting the elevator car vertically in the hoistway while the hoisting machine is in the second position using the hoisting machine and the second hoisting roping.
Elevator arrangement and method of constructing elevator
The invention relates to an elevator arrangement comprising an elevator shaft wall; and a guide rail line extending vertically at a distance from the shaft wall, the guide rail line being fixed to said wall with plurality of fixing brackets; and an elevator car vertically movable along at least said guide rail line; and a hoisting machine mounted at a first vertical level between the shaft wall and the guide rail line; and a hoisting roping movable with said hoisting machine, and connected to the elevator car; wherein the guide rail line extends in vertical direction past the hoisting machine the upper end of the guide rail line being higher than said hoisting machine, and said plurality of fixing brackets comprises one or more first fixing brackets higher than said hoisting machine, by which one or more first fixing brackets the portion of the guide rail line which portion is higher than said hoisting machine is fixed to the shaft wall; and wherein the hoisting machine comprising a motor and a rotatable drive wheel. The elevator arrangement comprises an elongated hoisting passage extending vertically between the shaft wall and the guide rail line inside which hoisting passage the hoisting machine fits to be hoisted, each said first fixing bracket being shaped to circumvent the hoisting passage. The invention also relates to a method of constructing an elevator.
Elevator renewal method
In an elevator renewal construction method, a series of divided construction work steps includes a first divided construction work step including the steps of: installing a communication-enabled hall device at each hall; installing a communication-enabled car device in a car; and installing a communication relay device and connecting the communication relay device and an old control panel to each other; connecting the communication relay device and each of the communication-enabled hall devices to each other and connecting the communication relay device and the communication-enabled car device to each other. After termination of the first divided construction work step, the old control panel is in a state of being communicable with the communication-enabled hall devices and the communication-enabled car device via the communication relay device.
