Pruning shears having both tree branch hanger and shock-absorbing functions
The present invention relates to pruning shears, and is intended to cut off branches and stems of landscape trees, fruit trees, etc. while minimizing slips, etc. occurring during pruning when the branches or stems have large diameters or are stiff, to alleviate impacts applied to a hand of an operator particularly at the moment when thick branches or stems are cut off, and to be conveniently hung on a tree branch during work. Furthermore, the pruning shears have a rotating portable saw accommodation means configured to cut off a tree branch or stem outside the cutting range of the pruning shears.
SCISSORS
Disclosed are scissors, which comprise handles and scissors heads, the handles comprising a first handle and a second handle, the scissors heads comprising a first scissors head and a second scissors head, the first scissors head being provided with a first blade and extending from one end of the first handle, the second scissors head being provided with a second blade and extending from one end of the second handle, and the first scissors head being pivotally hinged to the second scissors head via a pivoting structure, wherein the first scissors head and the second scissors head have a small width to thickness ratio at the connection between the scissors heads and the pivoting structure. The scissors greatly increase the rigidity of the scissors head, enhance the shear-compression intensity of the scissors, facilitate the cutting of thick objects, and meet the requirements of various objects to be operated.
Cutting tool with a variable pivot system
A hand operated cutting tool includes a first handle coupled to a first cutting member, the first handle having a first set of projections; and, a second handle coupled to a second cutting member and movably coupled to the first handle, the second handle having a second set of projections. The handles are movable between a full open position and a full closed position, wherein a first region of movement is defined by the first and second sets of projections being at least partly engaged, and wherein a second region of movement is defined by the first and second sets of projections being disengaged.

Hand-operated tool lock mechanism
A hand-operated tool lock mechanism secures a pair of grips in a closed locked state. The mechanism includes: a holding recess at the end of one grip; an engaging recess at the end of the other grip; a ring component removably and rotatably disposed in the holding recess, which engages with the engaging recess placing the grips in the closed state; and a catch for removably and rotatably inserting the ring component in the holding recess. The holding recess and the catch hold the ring component oriented away from the other grip when the ring component is disengaged from the engaging recess. When the hand-operated tool is used, the releasing of the ring component from the locked state causes the ring component to be held between the holding recess and the catch in an orientation in which the ring component does not contact the other grip.

GEARED HAND TOOL
A hand tool includes a first jaw; a second jaw rotatably coupled to the first jaw, the second jaw including a first set of projections and a first bearing surface, the first bearing surface having a first curvature; and a lever coupled to the first jaw, the lever including a second set of projections and a second bearing surface, the second bearing surface having a second curvature. During a movement of the first and second jaws from a full open position to a full close position, the first and second sets of projections are at least partially engaged to prevent a slippage between the first and second bearing surfaces that are in a rolling contact during the movement of the first and second jaws from the full open position to the full close position.

CUTTING TOOL
A cutting tool, comprising a first blade having a cutting edge, a second blade having a cutting edge, and pivotally connected to the first blade at a first pivot point. A first handle is pivotally connected to the first blade at a second pivot point, a second handle is pivotally connected to the second blade at a third pivot point, the first handle is pivotally connected to the second handle at an adjustable fourth pivot point, and the cutting tool further comprises a switch arrangement comprising a switch allowing a user to change location of the fourth pivot point from a proximal pivot point to a distal pivot point.
Multi-position lock for pruning device
A multi-position lock for a pruner or secateur comprises a movable selector for selection between a locked condition for the blades of the pruner or secateur and one or more degree of opening positions for the blades. A typical example allows locked, maximum half open or maximum fully opened operation of the pruner or secateur.
