LANDSCAPING TOOL
A tool capable of functioning in a first configuration as one type of cutter or pruner and in a second configuration as another type of cutter or pruner has functions to increase the comfort and efficiency of the cutting process. In some embodiments, a pruning saw assembly may be employed with the cutter mechanism for versatility.
Cutting device
A cutting device includes a jaw with a first jaw member and a second jaw member, a first handle attached to the first jaw member and a second handle rotatably connected to the second jaw member at a second pivot point, a gear including a first set of teeth and a second set of teeth at a first end of the second handle. The second handle is slidably connected to the second jaw member at the second pivot point to allow the second handle and the second set of teeth to move into a disengaged position where the second set of teeth are located at a distance from the first set of teeth. To ensure that the teeth of the gear engage correctly, a slide lock is in an enabling state allowing the second handle and the second set of teeth to slide in a slide direction from the disengaged position to the engaged position only when the first set of teeth and the second set of teeth are aligned into a mutually predetermined position.
PRUNING SHEAR DEVICE SWITCHABLE BETWEEN DIFFERENT OPERATING MODES
A pruning shear device includes a pair of pruning shears with a lug located at a rear end of a cutter blade thereof, and a switch unit including a position-limiting member movable between a first position where the position-limiting member is abutted against the lug for enabling the pruning shears to perform in a normal operating mode for cutting off small tree branches through a single-stage force-applying operation and a second position where the position-limiting member is kept away from the lug for enabling the pruning shears to perform in an effort-saving operating mode for cutting off large tree branches through a multi-stage force-applying operation.

Switch-free multi-cutting mode shearing tool
A switch-free multi-cutting mode shearing tool includes a shearer including a first handle and a second handle pivotally connected together, a cutter blade pivoted to the first handle, a link pivoted to the second handle, and a pushing element mounted at the second handle. The cutter blade has a cutting edge protruding over a front end of the first handle, an actuation portion projecting between the first and second handles, an elongated slot located in the actuation portion and a plurality of engagement grooves inside the elongated slot. The link has a pin located at a movable end thereof and inserted into and movable along the elongated slot and selectively engageable into one of the engagement grooves, such that when the first and second handles are closed toward each other, the pushing element is forced to touch and push the actuation portion of the cutter blade.
Manually actuated scissors
For manually actuated shears with a ratchet mechanism it is proposed to provide an additional lever that circumvents the ratchet mechanism and enables the operation of the shears in a direct cut mode in which a single closing process of the handle levers also causes complete closing of the blade arrangement.

Manually operated cutting device having a ratchet mechanism
A cutting device for the chipless cutting of a material comprises a cutting part and a supporting part. The cutting part and the supporting part are designed to be rotated with respect to one another about an axis of rotation between an open position and a closed position. A hand lever is articulated to the supporting part for pivoting about a pivot axis. A ratchet mechanism converts a back-and-forth motion of the hand lever into a continuous rotational motion of the cutting part toward the closed position. The ratchet mechanism includes a toothing and a drive pawl, which can be brought into an effective position with respect to the toothing. Furthermore, the cutting device comprises a coupling mechanism, which converts a one-time pivoting motion of the hand lever into a rotational motion of the cutting part. A separate coupling element transmits force from the hand lever to the cutting part.
SCISSORS
The present invention provides a pair of scissors comprising handle assembly and scissor head assembly. The handle assembly comprises a first handle and a second handle, and the scissor heads comprise a first scissor head and a second scissor head. The first scissor head is provided with a first blade extending from one end of the first handle. The second scissor head is provided with a second blade extending from one end of the second handle. The first scissor head and the second scissor head are pivotally hinged via a pivot structure, characterized in that, at the connection portion of the scissor head and the pivot structure, a width-thickness ratio of the first scissor head and the second scissor head is small. Such scissors enhances the rigidity of the scissor head greatly and improves the shearing strength of the scissors, facilitating snipping thicker objects to meet the requirements of being suited for various operation subjects.
