OVERHEAD TRAVELLING CRANE ASSEMBLY
Provided is an overhead travelling crane assembly including an overhead rail and a hoist unit realized to travel along the rail, characterized by a parking lock mounted to the hoist unit, which parking lock includes a brake assembly which, in its default position, prevents movement of the hoist unit along the overhead rail; and a release means realized to release the brake assembly to allow movement of the hoist uni -along the overhead rail. Also provided is a method of operating such an overhead travelling crane assembly; and a wind turbine including such an overhead travelling crane assembly in the nacelle.
FOLDABLE RAIL-MOUNTED CRANE STOP DEVICE
A foldable rail-mounted crane stop device includes an actuating device, a slidably fixing device and a braking device. The actuating device is mounted on a crane rail for bearing the pressure of a crane wheel and thereby actuating the braking device, the slidably fixing device is mounted at an end of the crane rail, and the braking device is connected with the slidably fixing device for braking the crane wheel. The device provided by the present invention is used for crane braking at the end of a rail.

Retracting rail clamp
A retracting rail clamp for braking or anchoring a rail-mounted machine such as a crane by clamping opposite sides of a longitudinal rail member, the retracting rail clamp comprising: a load transfer frame rigidly secured to the crane, such as by bolting; and a clamp mechanism suspended within the load transfer frame by at least one lateral pair of pivotally mounted lift levers, and operable through a first and second stage of motion between a raised, brake release position, in which the entirety of the rail clamp is disposed substantially vertically clear of the rail, and a lowered, brake set position wherein at least one opposed facing pair of main levers of the clamp mechanism engage the side surfaces of the rail.

Electromechanical storm brake actuator
Electromechanical actuator mechanisms for storm brakes are provided. The actuator mechanisms generally comprise an electro-mechanical release system and a permanent magnet eddy current brake system with adjustable air gap for varying brake setting time, and for energy dissipation of the storm brake main spring force or weight.
