Spreader for lifting intermodal container

A spreader (10) for lifting an intermodal transport container (22) comprises a main beam (24) extending in a longitudinal direction (L), the main beam formed of a first, upper C-beam of a relatively thicker material thickness and a second, lower C-beam of a relatively thinner material thickness; and an indicator configured to provide an indication if a distance in a transversal direction (T) between a pair of twist-locks (18) is set in a wide-body position when lowered onto respective lifting castings (20) provided with top openings (50) separated by a transversal distance corresponding to a standard position.

CRANE

A crane comprising a traveling body and a turning body turnably supported by the traveling body, the crane performing power feeding and communication between the traveling body and the turning body. The traveling body is provided with: a power supply; a lower controller which controls the traveling body and transmits power to the devices included in the traveling body; and a lower transmitter-receiver which wirelessly transmits and receives the power and data signal from the power supply. The turning body is provided with: an upper controller which controls the turning body and transmits power to the devices included in the turning body; and an upper transmitter-receiver which wirelessly transmits and receives the power and data signal to and from the lower transmitter-receiver.

MODULAR MULTIFUNCTIONAL WORKCELLS FOR AUTONOMOUS GUIDED VEHICLE APPLICATIONS
20210101748 · 2021-04-08 ·

Methods, systems, and apparatus for transporting workcells. In one aspect, a system includes a first fleet of AGVs that each include electro-mechanical interface that is adapted to (i) connect to or lift multiple different types of workcells and (ii) provide charging power to or receive charging power from multiple different types of workcells. A second fleet of multiple different types of workcells are each adapted to perform one or more particular tasks. A control system is configured to identify a set of tasks to be performed by the second fleet of workcells and, for each task, select a workcell to perform the task, select an AGV to transport the selected workcell to a location at which the task is to be performed, and provide, to the selected AGV, instructions that cause the selected AGV to transport the selected workcell to the location at which the task is to be performed.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT BOOM SYSTEM AND METHOD AND HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT THEREFOR

A boom system including a hoist boom pivoted to a machine base; a stick boom having a proximal end pivoted to the hoist boom and a distal end configured to carry a working tool; at least one hydraulic hoist cylinder mounted between the machine base and the hoist boom; a first stick cylinder mounted between the hoist boom and the stick boom; a second stick cylinder mounted similarly and mechanically linked with the first stick cylinder; and a hydraulic circuit for supplying hydraulic fluid to the hoist cylinder and stick cylinders, wherein the hydraulic circuit includes a hydraulic conduit line connecting a base end of the at least one hoist cylinder with a base end of the second stick cylinder to allow hydraulic fluid to shunt between the base ends of the hoist cylinder and the second stick cylinder.

Air Hose Arrangement And Method For Supplying Pressurized Air To A Movable Hoist
20210123546 · 2021-04-29 ·

An arrangement of pressurized air hoses and method for supplying pressurized air to pneumatically separated equipment such as hoists as the hoist is moved along a support rail. A series of pairs of lengths of air hoses are connected together at either end which are initially vertically oriented and packed together. As the hoist is manually moved along it causes the upper ends of the lengths to be swung apart from each other eventually becoming substantially horizontal. This movement causes the overall length of the series to be substantially lengthened allowing the hoist movement to occur while its need for pressurized air being maintained all along its range of movement.
