Boom working device
11806868 · 2023-11-07 · ·

A boom working device has a boom, mounted on and extending from a boom support, on which an end effector mounting interface is formed. The boom is equipped with two linear output structures, each in engagement with one of two drive wheels of the boom support. With respect to the boom support, the boom is both pivotable around a main axis and also capable of linear movement at right-angles to the main axis. Through harmonised rotary actuation of the drive wheels an operating movement of the boom may be generated, consisting either of a pivoting movement alone or of a linear movement alone or of the pivoting movement with simultaneously superimposed linear movement.

The invention relates to a rotary tower crane (10) having a tower mast (2) at the upper end of which a jib (8) is arranged, at least part of the tower mast being formed by at least three parallel tower sections (7) arranged next to one another.

CRANE AND METHOD FOR WEATHERVANING SUCH A CRANE
20210300735 · 2021-09-30 ·

The present invention relates to a method for weathervaning of a crane which has a boom which can rotate about a vertical axis, a slewing gear motor and a slewing gear service brake for securing the boom in a rotational position with a securing torque in the crane mode, wherein in the case of a crane which has been out-of-operation, the boom is braked against rotation with an out-of-operation mode braking torque which is less than said securing torque in the crane mode. In this respect, the invention also relates to such a crane itself, in particular in the form of a revolving tower crane. In accordance with the invention, the out-of-operation mode braking torque is kept at least approximately constant over the range of the speed of rotation and over the range of the angle of rotation of the boom.

The present invention relates to a crane, in particular in the form of a revolving tower crane, having a jib (3) and a counter-jib (4), which are articulated on a jib articulation piece (8), wherein the jib (3) comprises an outer jib part (3a), which is articulated on an inner jib part (3i) in a hinged manner and is held by a guy (10). According to the invention, the inner jib part (3i) is in the form of a cantilever, which is fastened to the jib articulation piece (8) in a flexurally rigid manner and held, wherein the outer jib part (3a) is articulated on the cantilever in a hinged manner and is held by the guy (10).

Jib crane with tension frame and compression support
11072517 · 2021-07-27 · ·

A jib crane assembly having a vertical pole and a boom for lifting a load. The pole has a length and cylindrical outer surface. A pivot structure is arranged at an upper segment of the pole such that the boom is rotatably secured at a pivot point, thereby dividing the boom into first and second portions. A compression support extends from the first portion of the boom to a compression roller engagement assembly, and a tension roller engagement assembly is secured to the second portion of the boom, opposite the compression roller assembly. The tension roller assembly is attached to a tension frame, wherein said compression support, compression roller assembly, tension frame, and second portion of the boom provide structural support and counter-balance when lifting the load, and the pivot structure and roller assemblies facilitate rotation of the load around the pole.
