20220089418 · 2022-03-24 ·

The focus of the present disclosure is on portable cranes and cantilevered base systems. In particular, portable cranes and cantilevered base systems which are lightweight, easy-to-operate, safe, inexpensive, and have extended reaches with high-load capacities would be advantageous for a variety of applications. A cantilevered support to a pivotable arm that is provided by the present disclosure provides advantages when compared to other portable cranes, such as the ability to: 1) extend an arm and reach of a crane, 2) increase a load that can be lifted or lowered, 3) operate a portable crane and cantilevered base system freestanding without attaching a base to a floor, surface, or bed of a vehicle, and 4) augment the structural capacity of a portable crane and cantilevered base with mechanical devices to support a variety of applications.

Portable crane formed of composite members

A portable gantry crane formed of composite members includes a composite material I-beam. Two or more support members are formed of a composite material and each support member supports the I-beam when the portable gantry crane is in an upright position. Two or more end housings are included, each end housing enclosing a top end of one of the two or more support members and coupled thereto using adhesive. A plurality of latch structures are coupled with the I-beam, each latch structure including a latch, and each end housing having a latch receiver, each latch in combination with a latch receiver allowing one of the latch structures to be releasably fixedly coupled with an end housing. In implementations a plurality of latch structures are coupled with the I-beam, each latch structure having a latch structure enclosure and each latch structure enclosure at least partially enclosing one of the end housings.

A target trajectory signal is calculated by integrating a target speed signal inputted from a suspended-load moving operation tool and passing the integrated signal through a lowpass filter. Target position coordinates of a load are calculated from the target trajectory signal. The current position coordinates of a leading end of a boom are calculated from the attitude of a crane device. An unwinding amount of a wire rope is calculated from the current position coordinates of the load and the current position coordinates of the boom. A direction vector of the wire rope is calculated from the current position coordinates of the load and the target position coordinates of the load. Target position coordinates of the boom are calculated from the unwinding amount and the direction vector. An actuation signal of an actuator is generated from the target position coordinates of the boom.

CRANE AND INFORMATION-SHARING SYSTEM

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a crane and an information-sharing system with which it is possible to: display information pertaining to an entire range of operations, including a range of operations outside of an imaging region of a camera; and share, between a plurality of operators, information input in the entire range of operations. The present invention is equipped with a control apparatus (20), a display apparatus (crane-side display terminal (58)/display terminal (59)), and a sensor (GNSS receiver (53)) that acquires the coordinates of a camera (51), the control apparatus (20) acquiring map information M within the range of operations of a crane (1), and being capable of displaying the map information M on the display apparatus ((58)/(59)) and displaying, at a position on the map information M corresponding to the coordinates of the camera (51), an image I captured by the camera (51).

Crane

There is provided a crane including a front member capable of derricking, a backstop disposed on a rear surface side of the front member so as to limit a standing operation of the front member, an angle sensor that detects an angle of the front member, an operation detection unit that detects whether or not the backstop is operated, and a controller that controls a derricking operation of the front member. In a case where the controller determines that the angle of the front member is equal to or larger than a predetermined angle, based on a detection signal output from the angle sensor, and determines that the backstop is not operated, based on a detection signal output from the operation detection unit, the controller stops the standing operation of the front member.

An anti-tip system for a lifting machine that includes a boom pivotally attached to a boom pivot joint, boom supporting member that raises or lowers the boom with a load attached to the boom, and a boom supporting member that supports, and transfers forces exerted on the boom to the lift machine's chassis. The system includes a bracket attached to the chassis that includes at least one guide arm and at least one force arm. The guide and force arms are pivotally attached at their proximal ends to the bracket's base and their distal ends converge and pivotally coupled at a common pivot joint that also pivotally connects to the boom supporting member. The longitudinal axes of the guide and force arms are perpendicularly aligned. When assembled, the extended longitudinal axis of the guide arm passes through the boom pivot joint. A strain gauge is attached to the force arm that measures the force exerted on the force arm.
