CRANE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
The present application relates to the field of lifting equipment, in particular to a crane and a control method thereof. The crane includes: a body including a chassis and a turntable being rotatably arranged on the chassis; a super-lift device including a super-lift jib, a suspension pulling member and a balancing mechanism, the balancing mechanism including a super-lift counterweight and a pushing device, first ends of the super-lift jib and the pushing device being both connected to the turntable, the suspension pulling member being connected to a second end of the super-lift jib and the super-lift counterweight, a second end of the pushing device being connected to the super-lift counterweight to adjusting a distance between the super-lift counterweight and a slewing center of the turntable; and a hovering device configured to support the super-lift counterweight above a ground when the crane is under no load, a first end of the hovering device being connected to the turntable and a second end of the hovering device being not connected to the super-lift jib. Based on this, the function of slewing and traveling of the crane under no load while carrying the super-lift counterweight is achieved more conveniently.

REVERSE LUFFING AND UTILITY BOOM CRANES
Cranes and crane systems with high capacity lifting capabilities, as well as versatility and relatively large operational areas. A crane of the present disclosure may have main boom pivotable about a substantially horizontal axis and a luffing assembly configured for luffing the boom about the axis. The main boom may be pivotable in both a forward luffing operation and a reverse or rearward luffing operation. In this way, the main boom may be operable within a range extending up to 180 degrees. Various adjustment mechanisms may be used to shift the main boom from a forward luffing operation to a reverse luffing operation. Additionally, a crane of the present disclosure may have a utility boom rotatable about a substantially vertical axis. The utility boom may allow for added lateral reach of the crane, thus further increasing the operational area of the crane.

Roof valley batten
The roof valley batten is configured for use with a roof. The roof valley batten attaches a plurality of shingles to a structure formed by a roof valley and a metal valley. The roof valley batten attaches to the metal valley in a manner that does not require the use of a fastening device that perforates a structure selected from the group consisting of the roof valley and the metal valley. The roof valley batten provides a mounting structure for the plurality of shingles that allows the use of a fastening device that does require the perforation of the roof valley batten. The roof valley batten comprises a mounting surface, a plurality of pedestals and a plurality of channels. The plurality of pedestals attach to the mounting surface. The plurality of channels are drainage channels formed within the plurality of pedestals.
Lightweight flexible tensioning system for construction equipment
Components and systems for a flexible tensioning member for construction equipment. A tensioning member is comprised of a fiber having a specific tensile strength greater than 1,000 kilonewton meters per kilogram. The tensioning member connects two components and has an attachment allowing the tensioning member to flex relative to a component. The attachment may provide a system for connecting multiple tensioning members.

Pipelayer machine with operator cabin having narrow front view
An operator cabin may include a frame; a seat assembly supported by the frame; and one or more operator controls to control one or more components of a pipelayer machine, the operator controls being supported by the frame. The frame includes a front surface; a rear surface opposite the front surface; a first lateral surface; and a second lateral surface opposite the first lateral surface. The front surface may comprise a first front support structure and a second front support structure opposite the first front support structure. The rear surface may comprise a first rear support structure and a second rear support structure opposite the first rear support structure. A first distance between the first rear support structure and the second rear support structure may exceed a second distance between the first front support structure and the second front support structure.

BEARING
The invention provides a bearing. In particular, the invention provides a bearing for allowing a column of a davit to be rotatably mounted on a substantially upright shaft. The bearing has a body shaped to correspond to an internal profile of the column. The body has a first bore for receiving a component on which the bearing bears and a first pair of parallel, spaced second bores, narrower than the first bore, which extend across the first bore in a direction perpendicular to an axis of the first bore and are configured to receive retaining pins which engage with a groove in the component received in the first bore. A single bearing can be used to rotatably couple the davit to the shaft, or king post, with a plurality of different-spaced bores to account for different diameters of shaft. This improvement allows the davit to be manufactured easily and erected easily by users.
