Device for determining the replacement state or wear of a rope during use in lifting gear
The present invention generally relates to lifting gears such as cranes which use ropes such as high-strength fiber ropes. The invention in particular relates to a device for determining the discard state of such rope in use on such lifting gears, comprising a detection device for detecting at least one rope utilization parameter influencing the discard state and an evaluation unit for evaluating the rope utilization parameter and for providing a discard signal in dependence on the rope utilization parameter evaluation. According to the invention the detection unit has at least one detecting means for detecting environmental influences on the rope, which can be evaluated by evaluation devices to recognize the discard state.
Lishanski vibrating transport device and associated method for movement of objects on vertical, horizontal and inclined basic surfaces
A device and method for moving cargo on inclined, horizontal or vertical surfaces utilizes frictional forces selectively applied through the use of induced mechanical vibrations on a loaded, platform in conjunction with the force of gravity acting on the platform. The platform is vibrated to pivot or shift the platform relative to a support structure, engaging a portion of the platform secured to the platform with the support structure. At the furthest extent of this motion, the platform is pulled against the support structure by gravity, disengaging the portion from the support structure. In turn the pivot point for the device is shifted to the point of engagement between the platform and the support structure, which enables the portion of the platform to move upwardly along the support structure. The alternation of this engagement of the platform with the support structure causes the platform to move along the support structure.

A personal safety system for lifting material or supporting person therefrom includes a base and a mast rotatably coupled to the base. The mast has a plurality of mast sections that telescope relative to each other along an axis such that the mast is movable into and between a lowered configuration and an extended configuration. A jib is coupled to the mast and a cable is coupled to the jib such that a cable is configured to couple to the material or the person such that the system is capable of lifting the material or supporting the person. An attachment device coupled to the base is configured to permit a vehicle to couple to the system via the attachment device.

CRANE
A crane including a crane arm with a crane tip and an implement arrangeable on the crane tip. The at least one part of the implement is movable in relation to the crane tip. A crane controller controls the crane arm and the at least one part of the implement. The crane controller can issue control commands by a user for movement of the crane arm and for movement of the at least one part of the implement. With an implement on the crane tip, when predetermined control commands are issued by a user for movement of the at least one part of the implement arranged on the crane tip, additional control commands for movement of the at least one crane arm can be given off by the crane controller to at least partially compensate for the movement of the at least one part of the implement.
