CRANE HAVING A CRANE CONTROLLER
A crane, in particular a loading crane, includes an arm system that has a plurality of arms. The crane also has a crane controller that is configured, in a coordinate control operating mode, to control the coordinates of the arm system. The crane controller has a user interface, and the user interface has at least one function which can be selected by a user and by way of which at least one of the degrees of freedom of the arm system can be restricted or is restricted in the coordinate control operating mode.
Apparatus for compensating diagonal pull in cranes
The invention relates to an apparatus for compensating diagonal pull in cranes having at least one boom, having a boom drive for adjusting an angle and/or a length of the boom and/or for traveling a trolley, and having a control/regulation apparatus for controlling/regulating the boom drive. The invention is further directed to a crane having a corresponding apparatus.
ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR MANAGING UNLOADING OF A LOAD OF A FORESTRY MACHINE
This invention relates to off-road work machines and to unloading an off-road work machine and particularly to an arrangement and a method for controlling the unloading of a forestry machine. It is characteristic of a method according to the invention for controlling unloading of a forestry machine (10), in which the forestry machine (10) comprises a load space (11) for a timber load (22), a boom structure (12) and a wood-handling tool (16) attached to said boom structure, that the method comprises the steps of: defining and noting down (43), (44) the location (20) of the timber pile, calculating and noting down the location of the edge of the timber pile, picking (45) a timber bundle from the timber load (22) by the wood-handling tool (16), calculating (46) the distance of the end justified on a load screen (13) of the edge of said timber bundle from the wood-handling tool (16), calculating an unloading location for said timber bundle in the defined location (20) of the timber pile, and controlling and unloading (47) said timber bundle into the timber pile in the said calculated unloading location such that one edge of the timber pile becomes even and straight.
PICK AND CARRY CRANE SUSPENSION
A crane, in particular a pick and carry crane, may have a front chassis with front wheels and a back chassis with back wheels, the front chassis being articulated relative to the back chassis so that the crane can travel whilst carrying a load suspended from a boom. The back and front wheels have independent suspensions which are capable of connection to one another so that movement of a left wheel influences movement of a right wheel, thereby improving the handing of the crane, particularly over rough terrain.
CRANE, A VEHICLE, AND A METHOD OF THE CRANE
A crane arranged to be mounted to a vehicle and including a crane controller. The crane controller includes a machine learning algorithm, including a neural network trained to calculate a movements of a crane components based on a received trajectory instruction. A supervisory controller is provided arranged to evaluate the calculated movements by comparing an accuracy measure to a predefined safety margin. The accuracy measure is defined by the difference between a crane tip position resulting from the calculated movements when moved from a current position, and a position of the crane tip calculated by the supervisory controller, based on the received trajectory instruction and on positions of individual joints of said crane boom system, when moved from the current position, and to generate an overruling operating instruction for a system of actuators, in response to the accuracy measure being larger than the predefined safety margin.
SYSTEM FOR THE STORAGE AND TRACTION OF A CABLE, IN PARTICULAR A SYNTHETIC CABLE FITTED TO AN OFFSHORE CRANE
Disclosed is a system for the storage and traction of a cable, in particular a synthetic cable fitted to an offshore crane. The storage/traction system includes a frame that carries in particular a storage device including a support carrying a storage reel through an assembly defining an axis of rotation. Between the storage reel and the support, the assembly includes of a single slewing ring including two rings that are free to rotate with respect to each other: a fixed ring that is fastened to the support; and a moving ring that is, on the one hand, fastened to the storage reel and, on the other hand, rotated by a motorization.
VEHICLE CONFIGURED TO ASSIST WITH CRANE RELOCATION
A vehicle may be configured with an adjustable horizontal planar platform for receiving a load, such as a boom arm of a crane and transporting the load to a new location. In some cases, the platform is configured to swivel and tilt in order to maintain an alignment with a second vehicle during transport of a load.
Bracket support system for a tractor hoist
A bracket support system to connect a hoist to a connector rod and at least one hoist connector of a tractor, the bracket support system including an upper mask bracket removably disposed on a mounting mask to connect to the connector rod, at least one lower bracket removably disposed on a rear of the hoist, a stiffener bracket disposed on at least a portion of the hoist to prevent damage to the mounting mask in response to lifting at least one object on the hoist, and a support shaft disposed within at least a portion of the rear of the hoist.
TELESCOPIC ARM FOR A REFUSE VEHICLE
A telescopic side arm for a refuse vehicle has an inner and outer boom. A mounting assembly secures the outer boom with a refuse vehicle. A plurality of bearing pads is positioned between the inner and outer booms to provide smooth movement between the inner and outer booms. A plurality of shims is associated with the bearing pads to assure a tight fit between the inner and outer booms.
Locking device for a telescopic boom, telescopic boom, and mobile crane
A locking device for a telescopic boom, in particular of a mobile crane, has an actuator for generating an actuating force, a driver that is reversibly coupled, during a telescoping movement of the telescopic boom, to a locking bolt, which is secured at a boom extension segment of the telescopic boom, and to be moved under the action of the actuating force for adjusting the locking bolt between at least one locking position and a release position. A driver bolt can be moved reversibly by the actuating force between a carry-along position gripping an inner boom extension segment and an empty running position not gripping a boom extension segment. A slotted actuating link is configured for a joint movement of the locking bolt and the driver bolt. A movement plane of the slotted actuating link is oriented perpendicularly to the telescoping direction of the telescopic boom.
