A self-trailering grain bagging machine on four wheels for storing grains and seeds inside a silo bag. The machine has a grain receiving hopper within which a compression auger encased in an auger tube. The auger is driven by mechanical means powered from a tractor's power take-off. The machine is mounted on a frame fitted with paired crossmembers at its left and right hand sides. Each crossmember is mounted upon a pair of wheel supports. The wheel supports are capable of gyrating relative to the crossmembers. The wheel supports carry one wheel that wheel rotates along with said wheel support. A work tongue is attached to the front side of the frame. The work tongue pivots relative to a horizontal axis. A transport tongue is attached to one crossmember wherein the wheels remain aligned in the direction intended for work and when turning said wheel supports by 90 degrees.

The storage/traction system includes a frame that carries in particular a storage device including a support carrying a storage reel through an assembly defining an axis of rotation. Between the storage reel and the support, the assembly includes of a single slewing ring including two rings that are free to rotate with respect to each other: —a fixed ring that is fastened to the support; and —a moving ring that is, on the one hand, fastened to the storage reel and, on the other hand, rotated by a motorization.

A timer module monitors the time period since the last interaction by the operator with the first selection member and generates an exit selection state signal in response of the monitored time period being larger than a predefined selection time period. The manoeuvring arrangement leaves the operation mode selection state if an exit selection state signal has been generated and initiates the operation mode by applying the operation mode with a marking in the displayed list on the second display section.

The hydraulic system also includes an input device controllable by an operator of the boom. The input device may, for instance, be used by the operator to initiate bleed down and retraction of the boom from an elevated position. To accommodate independent failsafe features of the system, the input device is configured to selectively actuate the solenoid bleed valve using electrical power supplied from the backup battery power supply.
