11167961 · 2021-11-09 · ·

Deployment of coiled tubing may be assisted using an apparatus comprising a source of coiled tubing, a coiled tubing distributor that comprises a passageway adapted to allow engaging the coiled tubing from the source of coiled tubing where the passageway comprises a coiled tubing receiver comprising a predetermined radius and a support frame, connected to the passageway, that is adapted to accept a portion of the coiled tubing therethrough, and a slip disposed intermediate the passageway and the support frame where the slip is adapted to accept a portion of the coiled tubing therethrough. The apparatus may be mounted to a structure and a portion of the coiled tubing deployed from the source of coiled tubing about the coiled tubing receiver through the slip. The apparatus is allowed to compensate for motion of the structure while the portion of the coiled tubing is deployed about the coiled tubing receiver through the slip.

JIB CRANE MECHANISM

Techniques facilitating increased operational reliability for jib cranes are provided. In one example, a jib crane can comprise a mast, a shaft mechanism, and a rod. The mast can extend vertically from a base structure. The shaft mechanism can be disposed within the mast. The rod can be coupled to a boom arm and can be disposed within the shaft mechanism. Rotation of the rod can facilitate continuous rotation of the boom arm about a longitudinal axis of the rod with respect to the base structure.

Portable crane formed of composite members

A portable gantry crane formed of composite members includes a composite material I-beam. Two or more support members are formed of a composite material and each support member supports the I-beam when the portable gantry crane is in an upright position. Two or more end housings are included, each end housing enclosing a top end of one of the two or more support members and coupled thereto using adhesive. A plurality of latch structures are coupled with the I-beam, each latch structure including a latch, and each end housing having a latch receiver, each latch in combination with a latch receiver allowing one of the latch structures to be releasably fixedly coupled with an end housing. In implementations a plurality of latch structures are coupled with the I-beam, each latch structure having a latch structure enclosure and each latch structure enclosure at least partially enclosing one of the end housings.

Swingable connection structure and crane provided with swingable connection structure

Provided is a swingable connection structure capable of detachably connecting a first member and a second member to each other easily. The swingable connection structure has a first member, a second member, and a swing holding member, and the second member is swingably connected to the first member. The first member has a swing shaft which defines a swing center axis of the second member, and the second member has a pivotally supported portion which receives the swing shaft. The swing holding member is mounted on a side surface of the second member in a rotatable manner, and the swing holding member is provided with a constraining hole which allows insertion of one end portion of the swing shaft received by the pivotally supported portion.

Method and apparatus for loading vessels using rotation

A method and apparatus for rapid loading stacks of items aboard vessels which can include rotating palletized items to depalletize the items, and then placing the items on a lifting robot, lifting the robot and items into the hold of a vessel, removing the items from the robot using a load push lift truck, and then using the load push lift truck to stow the items in a stowage location. The empty robot can be removed from the hold of the vessel and put in a position to receive a another depalletized stack of cartons. In one option the robot has a plurality of fork channels for receiving the blades of a load push lift truck along with receiving the blades or a rotating lift truck.
