System and method for planning yard crane work
A system and method for planning yard crane work are provided. The system for planning yard crane work includes a scenario providing unit configured to provide a plurality of work scenarios, a first evolution unit configured to evolve a first solution group including a plurality of first candidate solutions using a genetic algorithm, and a second evolution unit configured to evolve a second solution group including a plurality of second candidate solutions using the genetic algorithm. The first evolution unit evaluates each of the first candidate solutions based on a second strategy which is the most superior candidate solution of the second solution group. The second evolution unit evaluates each of the second candidate solutions based on a first strategy which is the most superior candidate solution of the first solution group. Evaluating each of the first and second candidate solutions is based on a work scenario arbitrarily selected from the plurality of work scenarios.
System, method and apparatus for widespread commercialization of hydrogen as a carbon-free alternative fuel source
A loading system for a lighter-than-air craft hull that includes a vehicle that transports cargo containers into a hull loading area. This vehicle engages one of a set of longitudinal rails located inside the hull running fore and aft, where each rail has a unique vertical position and a unique horizontal position inside the hull. There is a crane to raise a particular container transported by the vehicle to the unique vertical position of one of the rails and to move it horizontally to the unique horizontal position of the rail. The crane attaches a rail wheel to the container and suspends the container from the rail. There is a rail tug that pushes or pulls the container along the rail forward into the hull to a final shipping location for that container.
Method for hoisting and transporting assemblies in underground nuclear power plant
A method for hoisting and transporting assemblies in an underground nuclear power plant, the method including: 1) pouring concrete onto a reactor cavern to form a rock anchor beam; hoisting a circular bridge crane to the reactor cavern through a hoist shaft on a top of the reactor cavern; mounting the circular bridge crane on the rock anchor beam by using a truck crane; 2) installing a containment cylinder and a track beam of a polar crane in the reactor cavern using the circular bridge crane; hoisting a gantry crane on one end of a polar crane girder and sending the polar crane girder to the reactor cavern; hoisting the other end of the polar crane girder using the circular bridge crane; allowing the polar crane girder to be horizontal; and mounting the polar crane girder on the track beam.
Device and a ship for maintaining an offshore wind turbine
A maintenance device for maintaining an offshore wind turbine, the device being suitable for pressing against and traveling along the pylon of the wind turbine. The device includes a maintenance platform including a preferably U-shaped notch so that the pylon of the wind turbine can penetrate into said notch and travel means for causing the maintenance platform to travel along the pylon of the wind turbine. The travel means comprising a plurality of motor-driven crawlers arranged under said maintenance platform so that when the pylon of the wind turbine is placed in said notch with the vertical longitudinal axis of the pylon of the wind turbine perpendicular to the work plane of said maintenance platform.
System, method and apparatus for widespread commercialization of hydrogen as a carbon-free alternative fuel source
A system for transporting hydrogen from where it can be economically made to where it is most needed using airships. Green technologies can be used to generate electricity near to the primary energy sources. This electricity can then be used to produce hydrogen directly from water. Hydrogen can be delivered using an airship in which the hydrogen gas can also be used for generating lift, providing propulsion energy and serving ancillary needs. In other embodiments of the invention, the airship of the present invention can be used to dramatically reduce the cost of transportation of freight, the cost of passenger transportation, and to save on the area required for landing at the points of loading/unloading and embarkation/debarkation. And in another embodiment, the airship of the present invention can be used for transporting water and food to areas where needed. Various embodiments can load containers into and out of the ship.

MOVABLE CRANE ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR ERECTING MOVABLE CRANE ARRANGEMENT
A movable crane arrangement includes a main girder for a trolley; end girders with running wheels to be supported on both ends of the main girder; running platforms for the running wheels of the end girders; and one elongated container, inside which at least part of the crane arrangement is placed in a disassembled or folded state for transport, if desired. One running platform is arranged to be implemented on the roof of the container at a selected height, and the other running platform is arranged to be implemented on the erecting platform of the crane arrangement. A method for erecting such a crane arrangement is also disclosed.
Crane And Method For Controlling Same
A crane including electric actuators for lifting and/or traveling loads and/or crane elements, a generator for supplying the actuators with energy, an internal combustion engine for driving the generator, inputs for entering control commands for the actuators, and a control device for controlling the actuators in dependence on the control commands entered. The control device has a determination device for determining and/or estimating a future power demand of the electric actuators with reference to the actuation of the inputs with which control commands for the actuators are entered, and the current operating condition of the actuators, and an engine control unit for controlling the internal combustion engine in dependence on the estimated/determined future power demand.
