Net wrap lifting device

A baler includes a body, and a wrap system that is attached to the body. The wrap system is operable to support a roll of wrap material in an installed position. A cover is attached to the body, and is moveable between an open position and a closed position. When in open position, the cover provides access to the wrap system from an exterior location. When in the closed position, the cover encloses the wrap system from the exterior location. The baler includes a lift system attached to the body. The lift system is concealed between the body and the cover when the cover is disposed in the closed position. The lift system is positioned below the cover when the cover is disposed in the open position. The lift system raises the roll of wrap material into the installed position.

VESSEL SUPPORT SYSTEM

The support mechanisms of the present invention comprise a vessel supported by suspension cables suspended from trollies that can move along the length (longitudinal) of a framework. The support system is such that waste material, even upon heating, cooling, etc., can constantly and smoothly move through the entire system, with the vessel generally being in a natural, balanced orientation.

TRACK AND TROLLEY TRANSPORT AND STORAGE SYSTEM

Described herein is a storage system for installation onto a surface, such as a horizontal or vertical wall, such as an interior garage ceiling, floor, or wall. The system can be used to move, lift, and/or store articles, such as bicycles, skis, storage containers, and the like. The system generally comprises a track defining a longitudinally extending path and a trolley assembly coupled to the track. The trolley assembly generally comprises a trolley body, a pair of opposing sidewalls extending from the trolley body, and a roller assembly positioned between the pair of opposing sidewalls. The trolley assembly may further comprise a carrier attachment to secure an article thereto. A drive member and drive unit can be used for effecting movement so as to shift the trolley assembly from one position to another. The system generally comprises simple and easy-to-install components, thereby providing advantages over prior storage systems.

AUTOMATIC WIRE SPOOLING CONTROL

Systems and methods can be used in connection with a wellbore environment for automatically controlling wire being spooled around a drum. A system comprising a spooler, a sensor assembly, and a communication link can be used to adjust the position of wire being spooled around a drum. A first motor can control the spooler and a second motor can control the sensor assembly. The spooler can be positioned to control spooling of wire around the drum as the drum rotates to reel in wire. The sensor assembly can be configured to detect a distance between the sensor assembly and the wire being spooled. A communication link can communicatively couple the sensor assembly with the first motor and the second motor to control movement of the spooler and the sensor assembly relative to the drum based on the distance detected by the sensor assembly.

A self-localization method and system to estimate the position of a tethered quadcopter using only the onboard sensors. Embodiments of the invention are based on the dynamics of the tethered quadcopter and the principles of an accelerometer. The estimated orientation angles of the tether were used to estimate the location of the quadcopter with respect to the connecting point of the tether, which can be a ground vehicle. The results generated by both the software simulation and actual experiments reveal the effectiveness and accuracy of embodiments of the present invention.

System and method for deploying subsea and downhole equipment
11142965 · 2021-10-12 · ·

A flexible deployment system is used to deploy subsea/downhole well equipment or modules from a multi-purpose vessel without requiring a moon pool and a derrick or tower. The deployment system may include the vessel and a deployment frame disposed on the vessel. The deployment frame includes a protruding section extending as a cantilever beyond an external edge of the vessel, and the protruding section includes an aperture formed therein to facilitate construction of the well equipment or modules through the protruding section. The deployment system also includes an actuation assembly coupled to the protruding section to selectively transition the protruding section to a collapsed, split, or retracted orientation out of a deployment path of the well equipment or modules. The system allows for controlled deployment of well equipment or modules including at least a string of downhole tools or tubulars coupled end to end from the side of the vessel in a single trip.

A remote controlled lift assembly includes a pair of supports is each mountable to a respective outrigger of scaffolding. A winch unit is positionable on the supports when the supports are mounted on the scaffolding and the winch unit has a cable extending downwardly therefrom. The cable is lowered or lifted when the winch is actuated. A receiver is coupled to the winch unit and the receiver is in electrical communication with the winch unit. A remote control is provided that is carried by a user and the remote control is in wireless electrical communication with the receiver. In this way the user can remotely lift and lower the cable for lifting and lowering cargo.
