Building Ladder Hoist
A carrier building ladder hoist that contains a removable carrier casing and a winch casing allowing a user to hoist items. The ladder hoist contains a padded back and straps to allow an individual to carry it on their back and wheels and a tow handle to allow the user to tow it behind them. The side surfaces of the winch casing in ladder hoist have grooves in them to allow a user to hook the ladder hoist to a ladder. The ladder hoist has a winch system using gears and a winch strap ending in a hook.

SYSTEM FOR HOISTING A LOAD ON A DRILLING RIG
A system for hoisting a load on a drilling rig includes: a hoisting means having an elongated hoisting member and an elongated hoisting member drive means; a drill string rotation means suspended from an end of the elongated hoisting member; a support structure having a first side and a second side and being adapted to support at least a portion of the weight the drill string rotation means; a first elongated hoisting member guiding means connected to the support structure; and a counterweight connected to the elongated hoisting member at the second side of the support structure. The elongated hoisting member is reeved over the first elongated hoisting member guiding means from the first to the second side of the support structure. The drill string rotation means is suspended from the elongated hoisting member at the first side of the support structure
System, method and apparatus for servicing a pulverizer
A system for servicing a pulverizer includes a pulverizer having a housing, a journal assembly pivotally connected to the housing, a grinding mechanism operatively connected to the journal assembly, and an opening within the housing adjacent to the journal assembly and providing an access point to an interior of the housing, and a hoist apparatus mounted to the housing. The hoist apparatus includes a frame assembly received about the opening in the housing, a sheave assembly including a plurality of sheaves supported by the frame assembly, a motor operatively connected to one of the plurality of sheaves, and a cable received by the sheave assembly. The motor is operable to at least one of retract the cable through the sheave assembly to rotate a component out of the pulverizer through the opening and controllably let out the cable to rotate the component into the pulverizer through the opening.

AIRCRAFT PROVIDED WITH A WINCH DEVICE
An aircraft provided with a wing and a winch device. The winch device is provided with a hoist device that includes a storage drum and a motor member for winding a suspension member around the storage drum and for unwinding said suspension member off the storage drum. The hoist device is surrounded at least in part by a fairing of the winning, said hoist device being arranged in an inside volume of the wing at least in a position referred to as the “streamlined” position.

WINCH AND METHOD OF USE
This invention relates to a winch and to a method of using the winch. The winch is ideally adapted for mounting to the boom of a vehicle such as a mini-excavator, and is likely to find its greatest utility in relation to the removal of underground pipes, electricity conduits, fibre optic cables and the like, as well as in the bursting of pipes. The invention provides a winch comprising a support column, a base, a magazine, a drive mechanism and a mounting structure. The drive mechanism is connected to the magazine and is adapted to rotate the magazine in use. The support column connects the magazine to the base. The mounting structure is adapted for mounting to the boom of a vehicle. The winch has a rotatable connection between the base and the mounting structure which is securable in a chosen rotational position, so that the base of the winch can be correctly aligned regardless of the orientation of the vehicle.

Underwater Object Retrieval Device
An underwater object retrieval device for selective deployment to retrieve underwater objects includes an inflation unit that is configured to inflate upon command. A coupler is configured for coupling to an object to be placed underwater. A tether line has a first end, which is coupled to the inflation unit, and a second end, which is coupled to the coupler. A line storage unit is coupled to the tether line proximate to the second end. The line storage unit is positioned to house the tether line, such that the tether line is extensible from the line storage unit. The inflation unit is positioned to inflate upon user directed command, such that the inflation unit is buoyant. The tether line is extended from the line storage unit, such that the inflation unit reaches the water surface. The tether line is configured for retrieving the object to the surface.
