Track and trolley transport and storage system
11618629 · 2023-04-04 ·

Described herein is a storage system for installation onto a surface, such as a horizontal or vertical wall, such as an interior garage ceiling, floor, or wall. The system can be used to move, lift, and/or store articles, such as bicycles, skis, storage containers, and the like. The system generally comprises a track defining a longitudinally extending path and a trolley assembly coupled to the track. The trolley assembly generally comprises a trolley body, a pair of opposing sidewalls extending from the trolley body, and a roller assembly positioned between the pair of opposing sidewalls. The trolley assembly may further comprise a carrier attachment to secure an article thereto. A drive member and drive unit can be used for effecting movement so as to shift the trolley assembly from one position to another. The system generally comprises simple and easy-to-install components, thereby providing advantages over prior storage systems.

SNATCH BLOCK WITH PINCH ROD
20230341085 · 2023-10-26 ·

Snatch blocks can be used for lifting loads. A cord is attached to the load and passed over the axle of a snatch block that is suspended above the ground. A person can raise the load by pulling on the cord's free end. The load will fall if the cord is simply released. The snatch block can have a pinch rod. Moving the cord to an engagement angle causes the cord to engage the pinch rod such that loosening the cord moves the pinch rod to a pinch position. At the pinch position, the pinch rod pinches the cord against the axle and prevents the cord from moving further and lowering the load. Pulling the free end of the cord moves the pinch rod from the pinch position. The load can be lowered when the pinch rod is not in the pinch position.

INSTALLATION DEVICE HAVING POWER-ENGINEERING OR BUILDING-SERVICES MODULES, AND METHOD FOR REMOVING A MODULE FROM AN INSTALLATION DEVICE OF THIS TYPE
20230373765 · 2023-11-23 · ·

An installation device having power-engineering or building-services-engineering modules, and a method therefor, includes at least two side walls and a removable front cover, which enclose stackable modules. The side walls have a frame, two longitudinal rails arranged therein, and a transverse rail. The longitudinal rails are arranged along the corners of the modules remaining in the device for servicing of a module, in order to secure the one or more modules arranged above the module to be serviced. The two frames are arranged along two longitudinal rails on the front side and can be connected, via pulleys attached to the upper frame segment, to the transverse rails, on which the module to be serviced rests, so that the module is removable from the installation device once the one or more modules arranged above the module to be serviced are secured to the longitudinal rails.

A portable winch and method of use is shown. One advantage of winches shown includes an ability to lower a boom or boom sections into limited access exit pit for winching operations such as pipe bursting. Sectional boom designs shown provide the ability to easily raise and lower a boom large distances without the need for a single long boom. Selected winch designs shown include flexible inserts between the boom and the winch frame that help resist damage from unforeseen shifting of the device during operation. Designs and methods shown also include multiple pulleys on a boom end unit. Fasteners are shown that reduce build up of debris.

PULLEY

A pulley is disclosed, that comprises: a block formed from first and second spaced-apart plates; a sheave axle that interconnects and is secured to the plates; a sheave carried for rotation on the sheave axle between the plates; and a becket assembly comprising a becket axle that interconnects and is removably secured to the plates and a blocking component carried on the becket axle. The becket axle can be removed from the pulley to enable removal of the blocking component from the pulley. This allows a rope or similar element to be introduced between or removed from between the plates.

The pulley comprises a securing head and a first flange. A first shaft extends from the first flange. A second flange and a sheave are mounted rotatable around the first shaft with respect to the first flange. A rod is fixed to the first flange and mounted movable between a first position and a second position with a first movement. In the first position, the rod engages with the second flange to keep the second flange in the first position. In the second position, the rod allows rotation of the second flange. A blanking plate is fixed on the second flange and mounted movable between a first position and a second position with a second movement different from the first movement. The blanking plate partially covers the rod to prevent movement of the rod from the first position to the second position.
