Pet evaluation and triage system
A system is provided to provide triage recommendations for animals. The system accesses a syndrome mapping of syndromes to complaints, each syndrome having a triage category. The system accesses a complaint mapping of complaints to symptoms. Each symptom for a complaint has a weight. The system receives indications of a current complaint and current symptoms of an animal. Each current symptom has a score. The system identifies the triage category based on a syndrome to which the current complaint and the current symptoms apply, factoring in the weights and the scores. The system provides a recommendation for the animal based on the identified triage category.
Method for obtaining information about a farm animal
The invention relates to a method for obtaining information about a farm animal, wherein a device (a) is attached to the head region of an animal, said device containing at least one acceleration sensor by means of which recurring acceleration data is measured, wherein the acceleration data is evaluated using automatic data processing means, and, as an outcome of the evaluation, is indicative of the activities and/or conditions of the animal. The acquired acceleration data is evaluated in order to detect the swallowing processes carried out by the animal.
SMART CATTLE REPRODUCTION MANAGEMENT AND DIGITAL FARM TO MARKET TRANSPARENCY METRICS
A method of smart cattle reproduction management and digital farm to market transparency metrics tracks, monitors, and predicts reproductive efficiency, providing actionable information that allows the cattle rancher to optimize operations to ensure a high calf crop percentage. Using conventional ear tags to track and monitor the location, temperature, and movement of each animal in the herd, a highly accurate and data-driven reproductive performance score may be calculated for open heifers, cows, and bulls, thereby allowing actions to be taken to enhance reproductive efficiency. In addition, given the high risk of losing a heifer during calving, a method provides a means to detect, in advance and remotely, when a pregnant heifer is about to start calving to allow the cattle rancher to go on site, locate the animal, and provide any veterinary assistance that may be required should the delivery be difficult.

Animal condition indication assembly
An animal condition indication assembly includes a panel with a plurality of layers. The panel includes a first edge, a second edge, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. The layers include an adhesive to be attached to a first animal. A substrate has an upper surface and a lower surface and the adhesive is positioned on the lower surface to adhesively secure the substrate to a rump of the first animal. An intermediate layer is positioned on the upper surface and includes a first color permanently affixed to the substrate. The first color is UV fluorescent. A flood coat is removably positioned on and covers the intermediate layer. Portions of the flood coat are removed by a second animal upon mounting of the first animal by the second animal. The flood coat is opaque and has a different color than the intermediate layer.
VAGINAL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MEASURING FERTILITY-RELATED PARAMETER
A vaginal device configured to be inserted in a vagina of a user, the vaginal device comprising: a body comprising at least two electrodes configured to measure a fertility-related parameter of the user; a power source configured to provide power to the device; and an electrical system operably connected to the power source, the electrical system operably connected to one or more of the electrodes, the electrical system configured to switch one or more of the electrodes between charging and measuring functions.

System for analyzing a condition of an animal
A system for analyzing a condition of an animal, wherein the system includes at least an identification unit (2.1) which is arranged to be worn by an animal, wherein the identification unit includes a first transmitter unit (4), a movement sensor (6), and a control unit (8) which is communicatively connected with the transmitter unit and the movement sensor, wherein the system further includes a receiver unit (8) and a computer (10) which is connected with the receiver unit and wherein the system further includes positioning means for measuring a position of the identification unit, wherein the control unit is arranged for, in use, storing and/or processing electronic information of movements of the animal which have been obtained with the movement sensor. The system is further arranged to feed positions of the identification unit measured with the aid of the positioning means to the computer and/or the control unit, wherein the computer and/or the control unit is arranged to process the electronic information about detected movements and the electronic information about the measured positions in combination for analyzing the condition of the animal.
Animal tag system
Apparatus for managing animals such as but not limited to livestock. In some embodiments, a tag assembly is configured for attachment to an outer ear of an animal. The tag assembly has a main body and a shaft that extends through an aperture extending through the outer ear to attach the main body to a facing surface of the outer ear. A primary temperature sensor of the tag assembly is configured to obtain outer ear temperature data indicative of an outer ear temperature of the outer ear. A control circuit is configured to receive the outer ear temperature data via a wireless communication link with the tag assembly. The control circuit determines a health state of the animal in response to a localized change in a magnitude of the outer ear temperature data in relation to a set of ambient temperature data over a selected time interval.
