Hydraulic implement

A hydraulic implement (1) for portable use includes a hydraulic pump (2), a pump housing (10), a hydraulic cylinder (3) with a piston rod (11), a hydraulic tank (4), hydraulic lines, a compensating device, a manually operable hydraulic control valve (8), a rechargeable battery (9) which is accommodated on the implement (1), and two tool halves (16, 17) that are connected to the piston rod (11) via pivoting arms (12, 13). Each tool half (16, 17) has a wall section (20, 21) that extends perpendicularly to the extension of the longitudinal axis of the piston rod (11). When the tool halves are closed, both wall sections (20, 21) together form a flattened end region (24) that runs perpendicularly to the extension of the longitudinal axis of the piston rod (11).

Method and apparatus for raising a structure

A system and method for raising a structure, or part thereof, the system comprising vertical jack members connected and disposed about a rail system attached about the periphery of the structure. The vertical jack members comprise an outer sleeve and a slidable inner portion that is driven vertically by a jack screw and drive block. Extensible diagonal cross-braces stabilize the jack members and structure being raised.

A portable and foldable lift can be attached to a surface such as a tailgate of a truck. The lift can be slid off the gate and used to lift heavy objects from the ground to the bed of the truck. The portable and foldable lift is returned in a folded position to the tailgate for easy storage. The portable and foldable lift can also be attached to a work bench, either on top or underneath, and can be folded up and stored out of the way.

ADJUSTABLE MATERIAL HOIST

A method of using a material hoist system can include extending an overall length of a track assembly by slidably moving a second track member of the track assembly with respect to a first track member of the track assembly; and slidably moving a carriage of the system with respect to the track assembly.

DRIVE AND CARRIAGE FOR MATERIAL HOIST

A drive for a material hoist system can include a housing configured to be slidably coupled to a track of the system; a motor positioned inside the housing; a gearbox positioned inside the housing and coupled to the motor; and a spool positioned inside the housing between the motor and the gearbox, the spool configured to: selectably wind and unwind a flexible connecting element coupled to the track; and drive movement of the drive along a longitudinal direction of the track.

PORTABLE APPARATUS FOR MOVING A VEHICLE
20240253959 · 2024-08-01 ·

An apparatus for moving a broken-down vehicle. The apparatus can be coupled to a rear tow hitch on the vehicle to move the vehicle. The apparatus includes a frame and a tow bar coupled to the frame that can be attached to the tow hitch of the vehicle. A wheel is mounted to the frame. A motor mounted to the frame can drive the wheel. A jack mounted to the frame can increase and decrease the distance between the wheel and the tow bar. A control button can be used to turn the motor on and off, wherein the control button can be positioned within a cabin of the vehicle in proximity to the driver seat. The motor can be powered by a battery of the vehicle or a separate battery that is mounted to the frame.

LIFTING LOADS WITH LIFTING DEVICES

A control system detects a loaded state for a lifting device. The control system receives a current load value from a load sensor corresponding to a load on the lifting device and compares the current load value from a previously received load value to determine a change in load. The control system receives a current displacement value from a displacement sensor corresponding to a displacement of the lifting device and compares the current displacement value with a previously received displacement value to determine a change in displacement. The control system compares the change in load with the change in displacement to determine a current load slope. The lifting device in identified in a loaded state based on a comparison of the current load slope with a load slope threshold. The control system may stop extending the lifting device after reaching the loaded state and start extending all of the lifting devices in unison to lift the load off of a base surface after all of the lifting devices reach the loaded state.
