Lifting device

A lifting device having an axle and a pair of wheels attached to the axle, a support element secured to the axle, a vertical element secured to the axle at an angle relative to the support element, and a handle secured to the distal end of the vertical element. In some embodiments, a safety arm is rotatably connected to the support element and the safety arm is moved from a closed position to an extended position, and vice versa, by simply rotating a handle grip which actuates a lever thereby moving a release pin from an engaged position to a dis-engaged position. The release pin secures the safety arm in the closed and extended positions. In further embodiments, a tooth is rotatably connected to the distal end of the support element and the tooth is biased inwards towards the lifting device by at least one spring.

An apparatus useful for moving a load. The apparatus includes a carriage with two frames, each one has a hinge end. The frames are hingeably connected to each other at the hinge end. One frame is mounted on a rail to move the carriage therealong. The other frame is moveable relative to the first frame about the hinge end. A jack assembly is connected to the frames and is actuatable to move one frame relative to the other frame about the hinge end. A brake assembly is located away from the hinge end and has a brake plate member connected to one frame for resilient axial movement. The brake assembly also has a brake plate stopper connected to the first frame, and is moveable between a carriage stopping configuration, in which the brake plate stopper engages the brake plate member, and a carriage moving configuration in which the brake plate stopper is retracted away from the brake plate member.

Pallet lifting system

A pallet lifter for raising and lowering a pallet. The pallet lifter includes a pallet platform and a movement mechanism that controllably causes the pallet platform to raise and lower. The pallet platform includes a top surface designed to support a pallet, two side walls, and a back wall. The movement mechanism includes a motor and a threaded rod. The electric motor is designed to cause the threaded rod to rotate in a clockwise and counterclockwise direction to cause said pallet platform to raise and lower.

Battery Powered Vehicle Jack

A vehicle jack, such as a battery-operated vehicle jack is provided. The jack includes a base, a lift arm, a crank arm, an actuator coupled to the lift arm and an electric motor to actuate the actuator. The lift arm includes a first end that engages a load and a second end that is moveably coupled to the base. The crank arm includes a third end that is pivotally coupled to the base and a fourth end that is pivotally coupled to the lift arm between the first end and the second end. The electric motor actuates the actuator to move the second end of the lift arm relative to the third end of the crank arm to cause a vertical movement at the first end of the lift arm between a lowered position and a raised position.

Aircraft transport jack

An exemplary aircraft transport jack includes a vertical structure having a vertical axis, a bottom end, and a top end, a connector above the bottom end operable to detachably secure the vertical structure to an aircraft member, a wheel assembly with wheels positioned on opposing sides of the vertical structure, and an actuator coupled to the vertical structure and the wheel assembly and operable to move the wheel assembly axially relative to the vertical structure between a lowered position with the wheels on a ground and a raised position with the bottom end on the ground and the wheels above the ground.

Aircraft transport jack

An exemplary aircraft transport jack includes a vertical structure having a vertical axis, a bottom end, and a top end, a connector above the bottom end operable to detachably secure the vertical structure to an aircraft member, a wheel assembly with wheels positioned on opposing sides of the vertical structure, and an actuator coupled to the vertical structure and the wheel assembly and operable to move the wheel assembly axially relative to the vertical structure between a lowered position with the wheels on a ground and a raised position with the bottom end on the ground and the wheels above the ground.

A pallet lifter for raising and lowering a pallet. The pallet lifter includes a pallet platform, a lifting frame that supports the pallet platform, and a movement mechanism that controllably causes the pallet platform to raise and lower. The pallet platform includes a top surface designed to support a pallet, two side walls and a back wall. The lifting frame includes two sets of legs. One end of one or both of the two legs of each set of legs is moveable along a longitudinal axis of the pallet platform as the pallet platform is raised and lowered.
