Wire puller lift dolly
11462891 · 2022-10-04 · ·

Apparatus adapted for use with an existing wire tugger includes a primary frame, a slide frame configured to receive the wire tugger, and a jack that causes the slide frame and existing wire tugger to move up and down, thereby enabling a user to position the upper end adapter of the existing wire tugger proximate to an overhead wire pull location. The system enables the existing wire puller to be transported and physically oriented to address a broader range of overhead wire pulling applications on jobsites. A wheeled cart facilitates traversing throughout jobs and vertical wire-puller mounting, thereby mitigating space constraints while allowing for easier set-up and a broader range of uses. Various interchangeable end adapters facilitate temporary coupling and stabilization with respect to different conduit sizes.

Floor jack lockout assembly

A floor jack locking assembly is presented. The locking assembly may include a locking pin used to mechanically lock out the jack at a specified lift height. The locking assembly may avoid the hydraulic lift cylinder being the only stabilizing component of the jack when supporting a significant load. The locking pin may be coupled to lifting link arms, avoiding the need to have the locking pin inserted into or through the lifting arm of the jack.

A floor jack and a frame therefor including a pair of arched side plates, hubs, axles, and spreader bars are provided. A first pair and a second pair of hubs are positioned at front ends and rear ends of the arched side plates respectively. A first axle and a second axle connect the arched side plates to the first pair and the second pair of hubs at the front ends and the rear ends of the arched side plates, respectively, using pairs of adjustable collars that pivot between lower and upper positions. The spreader bars separate the arched side plates along their length. The frame is configured for use in a conventional jack or in a mega jack with increased elevation by fixing the axles to the lower or upper positions of the adjustable collars. A frame is also provided for a fixed height floor jack including non-adjustable collars.

A hydraulic floor jack with an integrated support is disclosed. The floor jack can be used with the floor jack oriented in any orientation relative to the orientation of a vehicle to be raised. The support remains suspended above the ground allowing the floor jack to roll along the ground while the vehicle is being raised. The support is then biased firmly on the ground, under weight of the vehicle, while the vehicle is suspended. A method of use of a hydraulic floor jack is also disclosed.
