Inclination sensor system

An inclination sensor system for a mobile work machine includes a MEMS inclination sensor and a further inclination sensor of a different type and a fusion device. The inclination sensor is configured to output a first inclination signal on the basis of an inclination that exists at the inclination sensor. The further inclination sensor is configured to output a second inclination signal on the basis of the inclination that exists at the further inclination sensor. The fusion device is configured to calculate a corrected inclination signal on the basis of the first and second inclination signals and to output same as the corrected inclination signal.

The scissor assembly includes a first scissor layer including a first inner arm pivotally coupled to a first outer arm. An actuator is configured to move the platform between a fully raised position and a fully lowered position relative to the base. The first middle axis is offset vertically from the first end axis center point.

A lift device includes a chassis, a platform configured to support a user, a lift assembly coupling the platform to the chassis, an actuator configured to at least one of (a) move the platform relative to the chassis or (b) propel the chassis, a sensor assembly, and a controller. The sensor assembly includes a rod including a first end portion coupled to the platform and a second end portion opposite the first end portion, a housing defining an aperture sized to receive the second end portion of the rod, and a sensor coupled to the housing and configured to provide a signal in response to the second end portion of the rod exiting the aperture. The controller is operatively coupled to the sensor and the actuator and configured to control the actuator in response to receiving the signal from the sensor.

ELEVATION BASED MACHINE LOCALIZATION SYSTEM AND METHOD

A machine localization system includes a work machine including an extendable implement, a first pressure sensor coupled to the work machine, a second pressure sensor located at a known elevation, and a computing system operably coupled to the work machine, the first pressure sensor, and the second pressure sensor. The computing system is configured to receive a first pressure measurement from the first pressure sensor and a second pressure measurement from the second pressure sensor, determine a maximum operating height of the extendable implement based on a difference between the first pressure measurement and the second pressure measurement, and configure the extendable implement to not exceed the maximum operating height.

The stability system is controllable to facilitate leaning the fire apparatus at least two degrees relative to a ground surface while maintaining full operational capability of the ladder assembly.

A method of using the system can include placing a dish above a recess defined by an upper surface of a platform, and lowering the frame with respect to the platform, thereby seating the dish within the recess.

Automatic Leveling Control Method for a Four-leg Support Working Platform

The present disclosure discloses an automatic leveling control method for a four-leg support working platform, which comprises the steps: determining the mass center position of the working platform, determining the main bearing quadrant and distinguishing active legs from the driven leg; adjusting the driven leg to weak state, controlling all legs to synchronously actuate for leveling; calculating the limit compensating actuation length of the driven leg, and performing compensating actuation until accomplishing the leveling process. The method is advantageous in: high speed, high robustness, no repeated oscillation. The mass center always stays within the bearing zone of the active legs, thus completely eliminating capsizing risk of the working platform. The compensating actuation of the driven leg ensures there is no weak leg, and hence high attitude and load-bearing stability of the working platform is achieved.
