Shrub trimming guide apparatus
A plant trimming guide apparatus, including a plurality of guide blades made of a resilient material, and a flat collar having a length, a width, an attachment surface, and made of a resilient material. Each of the plurality of guide blades has a pivot end that is secured pivotably with a common securement pin, and an opposed based end, with the plurality of base ends attached to and extending from an attachment surface of the collar, in a series along the length between the first end and the second end of the collar. Securing the first and second ends of the collar into a formed ring with the attachment surface facing outwardly causes the guide blades to extend radially from the common pivot ends and bend semi-spherically to the base ends, forming a spherical trimming guide.
Method and apparatus for performing pruning operations using an autonomous vehicle
An autonomous vehicle apparatus and method for performing pruning operations on a plant being cultivated in a container is disclosed. The apparatus includes a wheeled chassis operably configured to autonomously navigate to a location of the container within a workspace. The apparatus also includes a plant support operable to receive and secure the container in an upright condition for rotation about a vertical axis extending generally vertically through the container and the plant. The apparatus further includes a manipulator mounted to the vehicle and operable to grasp and load the container onto the plant support, and a pruning tool mounted on the vehicle and disposed to prune the plant while the container is rotated on the plant support.

MACHINE FOR AND METHOD OF EXTRACTING VINE BRANCHES
A machine for pulling off plant branches, in particular vine branches, of tying wires to which they cling by tendrils comprising a combination of means capable to extract the branches downwards. The combination of means comprises a (resiliently pivoted) pressing member and a pulling member facing the pressing member. In operation, the pulling member is moving so that its surface oriented towards the pressing member moves downwards. Cut-off branches are pressed on this surface by the pressing member by a force sufficient that the branches are dragged downwardly along and are forcibly detached from the tying wires. The downward removal corresponds to the about V-shaped ramifications of the plant, so that it is effected more easily and without obstruction by the ramifications which tend to get caught by the tying wires when removal occurs upwards. A branch not cut-off and tied to the trellis wire withstands the pressing member provided a suitable adjusted resilient pressing force is selected, supported by the pressing member consisting of a resilient material like an elastomer. Such a branch will not suffer any contact, or at least a minimal contact only, with the pulling device.
Arrangement for automatic adjustment of a spacing between cutting blades
Adjustment device for automatic adjustment of a spacing between a first and a second cutting blade. The adjustment device includes a connector extending through a recess in the respective first and second cutting blades at right angles to the first and second contact surfaces and arranged to guide the movement of the displaceable cutting blades relative to the other cutting blade. The adjustment device further includes a first stop fixed to one end of the connector and arranged in contact with the outer surface of the second cutting blade, and an adjustment means located at the opposite end of the connector and arranged to apply a pre-tensioning force on the outer surface of the first cutting blade and maintain first and second contact surfaces of the first and second cutting blades in contact.
Gardening trimmer
A gardening trimmer may include: a conversion mechanism for converting rotational motion of a prime mover to linear motion along a first direction; a blade for moving in reciprocating motion relative to a guide bar and including a plurality of slots; and a plurality of guide members each disposed in a corresponding slot of the plurality of slots of the blade. The plurality of slots may include: at least one first slot in which a corresponding guide member of the guide members that is connected to a housing is disposed. A combination of the slots and the guide members may include: a first combination to reduce frictional resistance generated by the reciprocating motion; and a second combination to reduce vibration generated by the reciprocating motion, and at least one combination of the at least one first slot and its corresponding guide member is the second combination.
Implement System for a machine
An implement system for a machine. The implement system includes a boom, an implement, a roller assembly and a carriage. The boom has a telescopic structure and a first end. The implement is coupled to the first end of the boom. The roller assembly is configured to be coupled to the machine. The carriage is engaged with the roller assembly and is coupled to the boom. The carriage is configured to move linearly along a longitudinal axis of the machine between a first position and a second position.

FOLDABLE GARDENING SHEAR
A foldable gardening shear may comprise a main body, a pair of handles, and a pair of pivot members. Each of the pivot members has a control unit, a knob, a screw and a pair of covers. The main body comprises a first pivot pin pivotally connect to a pair of cutting members at a middle portion of the main body. Each of the cutting members has a blade formed at an upper portion thereof, and the two blades are configured to couple together to achieve the cutting effect. The present invention is advantageous because the handles can be folded upwardly, which enables the gardening shear to be carried and stored easily; and in the folded position, the handles are respectively located at two lateral sides of the cutting members, which can prevent the blades from hurting the user.
