INTEGRATED CAPPER SYSTEM
An integrated conveyor line system for placing safety and non-safety caps onto bottles traveling on the same conveyor line. A network of sensors and RFID readers determine the location of bottles and ensure that the right cap is placed on each bottle. The processing system controlling the hardware components instructs the appropriate components to divert bottles to a reject holding queue when the system detects a bottle having the wrong type of cap.
CAROUSEL FOR PROCESSING CONTAINERS
A carousel for processing containers includes a base structure that can rotate about the rotation axis of the carousel and supports a plurality of supporting elements. A detection device is provided having at least one sensor that can move about the rotation axis of the carousel. The carousel further includes a plurality of kinematic connection elements arranged between the base structure and the sensor or sensors, which are adapted to couple integrally in rotation the sensor or sensors and the base structure during the movement of the sensor or sensors. The kinematic connection elements are associated with motor elements adapted to return on command the sensor or sensors from a final angular position to the initial angular position by way of an angular movement of the sensor or sensors in the opposite direction with respect to the rotation of the base structure.

Machine for applying threaded caps to containers
Machine for applying threaded caps to containers, comprising: gripping means configured to hold the respective containers, at least one screwing head including a respective gripping member configured to hold a respective cap; at least one electric motor associated with said screwing head and configured to control a rotational movement of said gripping member about a longitudinal axis and a translational movement of said gripping member along said longitudinal axis, the translational movement and the rotational movement being synchronized with each other so as to move said gripping member along a screwing path.
Method for determining tightness and CCI of containers with a crimp seal closure
Method for determining tightness and CCI of containers with a crimp seal closure by providing a container with a closed crimp seal closure, the crimp seal closure having an elastomer section, measuring a determined length between the top of the elastomer section and a position of the container, comparing the length to a predetermined range, and rejecting closed containers with a length outside the predetermined range.

Method and apparatus for checking a screw closure torque without contact
The torque which is required to open a plastic screw closure which is screwed onto a bottle is determined without contact by the rotation position of the screwed-on plastic screw closure in relation to the bottle being established. The rotation position is established by evaluating an image on the basis of a mark on the bottle and a mark on the screw closure. Ventilation slots which interrupt the turns of the screw thread on the bottle neck can be used as the mark on the bottle, and a predetermined breaking point on a securing ring of the screw closure can be used as the mark on the screw closure.
UNIT FOR THE APPLICATION OF LIDS OF OPENING DEVICES
An applying unit for applying lids of opening devices to spouts of packages comprises a plurality of applying devices arranged for applying the lids to the spouts, a plurality of transfer arrangements, each transfer arrangement supporting a corresponding applying device and being movable along a track arrangement, wherein the transfer arrangements are self-movable along the track arrangement and are movable independently from each other along the track arrangement.

Container treatment plant and a container treatment method for the treatment of containers capable of being filled with a product
A container treatment plant and a method for the treatment of containers are described. The container treatment plant includes a plurality of treatment elements, wherein each treatment element is used for a pre-determined treatment of the containers and each treatment element has associated therewith a container nominal value which indicates which type of container the treatment element can treat, a detection device for detecting properties of one of the containers to be treated, and a comparator device for comparing a detection result of the detection device with the container nominal value for at least one treatment element.
