Apparatus, systems and methods for manipulating a drum or other container
An automated drum manipulation system and methods include at least one among an automated drum rotator, bung locator, bung plug extractor and bung plug installer. The bung locator includes at least two spaced-apart bung location sensors and at least one downwardly-extending foot spaced outwardly relative to the sensors and configured to rest upon the drum's outer rim, positioning the sensors over the upper surface of the drum so they can concurrently detect the presence of opposing sides of the lip of the drum's bung opening as the drum is rotated below the bung locator.
Cap removal device and thrombelastography device having same
A cap removal device and a thrombelastography device having same are disclosed. The cap removal device comprises a drive part (1), a connection shaft (2), and a cap removal member (3). The connection shaft (2) can move upward when driven by the drive part (1). The cap removal member (3) has an end (31) and the other end (32); the end (31) is pivotally connected to the connection shaft (2), so that when the connection shaft (2) moves upward when driven by the drive part (1), the cap removal member (3) rotates, due to the upward movement, around a pivot point (4) located between the end (31) and the other end (32) of the cap removal member (3), so that the other end (32) of the cap removal member (3) moves downward to contact a cap (5) to be removed, thereby removing the cap (5). The thrombelastography device has the cap removal device, and thus can achieve the automatic removal of the cap (5) and the automated control on the drive part (1), thereby improving the cap removal efficiency and the test efficiency, and saving time of manually removing the cap.

Universal synchronized capping machine
Automated setup and operation of a container capping machine is achieved by providing motors, each under computer control, to make the necessary adjustments regarding setup and operation, and a plurality of sensors and other devices adapted to send information related to container and cap configurations and machine operation to the computer.

Self-sealing bottle holder
A bottle holder that automatically seals a bottle opening when the bottle holder is placed for storage. The bottle may rest within a recess of the holder base, and the nozzle of the bottle is held in place by a nozzle catch that is conically shaped and has an inner cup that tapers to a terminal point so that a nozzle that it placed within will be sealed by the inner wall of the cup. The nozzle catch is spring loaded and presses down against the bottle to hold it in place and maintain a seal on the nozzle. A bottle may be placed in the holder by positioning a nozzle in the nozzle catch on the upper side of the holder and pushing upwards and inwards, which causes the spring to compress and allows the bottle bottom to pass over the base and into the recess.

CAP ATTACHMENT DEVICE AND CAP PLATE
A cap attachment device includes a cap holder, a vial platform, a cap pushing rod and a driver. The cap holder is provided to be liftable and lowerable between a first height and a second height lower than the first height, and holds a cap plate holding a cap. The vial platform is provided below the cap holder. On the vial platform, a vial plate holding a snap vial corresponding to a cap is placed. The cap pushing rod is provided above the cap holder and extends in an up-and-down direction. When the cap holder is at the second height, the driver lifts and lowers the cap pushing rod such that the cap pushing rod pushes a cap held by the cap plate downwardly.
