APPARATUS FOR OPENING SAFETY LOCKED BOTTLE CAPS
An apparatus for opening safety locked bottle caps is disclosed herein. The apparatus enables users to open safety locked bottle caps in a safe and effective manner. In one embodiment of the invention, the various elements of the inventive apparatus enable a user to remove a bottle cap when sufficient downward force is applied to the handle of the apparatus. In one embodiment, the apparatus is comprised of an engagement mechanism that lodges into the bottom portion of the bottle cap's outer lip. The engagement mechanism is designed to remain lodged within the bottle cap's outer lip through a substantial portion of the opening motion. This feature prevents the inventive apparatus from slipping-off from the bottle cap while a user is trying to remove the bottle cap from the bottle.
Apparatus and method for gripping a container
An apparatus for grasping a jar and aiding in lid opening includes a base element that may be placed on a surface, and a top housing that is rotatably secured to the base element. The top housing includes a raised outer periphery having at least one recess extending at least partially through the raised outer periphery, each recess allowing an increased maximum outward movement of a corresponding movable jaw member compared to a raised outer periphery lacking the recess.

Handheld Assistive Container Opening Device
A handheld assistive container opening device comprises two elongated arms extending from a body at an acute angle, having gripping contours on the interior arm surfaces for gripping a rotatable container cap. The arms may be rotatable though respective limited arcs about respective axes parallel to the container axis, to improve the capability to grip the cap. The device may include a movable top plate positioner, positionable over the interior of the acute angle to align a container cap with the arms, or away from the acute angle to accommodate irregularly shaped caps. The body may further include a concave finger engagement recess for application of torque from the side of a finger without gripping the device. In an exemplary embodiment, the body has the shape of an X with arms extending from a pair of adjacent ends at approximately 60 degrees.

Container Lid Rotating Device
A container lid rotating device for removing and attaching container lids includes a plurality of shells. The shells are resilient. Each shell has a bottom that is open and a top that is domed so that the shell is bowl-shaped. Each shell has a respective size so that the plurality of shells comprises a variety of sizes and is configured to be nested. Each shell is configured to insert a lid of a respective container through the bottom into the shell. The shell is positioned to be grasped in a hand of a user to rotate the shell and the lid relative to the respective container to selectively open and close the container.

Device for opening containers for liquids and for holding the corresponding lids
A device for opening, or re-closing, and holding lids of containers, each provided with an oblong spout, comprises a removal head of the pneumatic type which has a through housing channel which develops along an axis and in which the spout is at least partly housed, and a holding member, associated to the removal head, to cooperate with the spout. The holding member is actuated pneumatically to define at least a reversible condition of holding the spout inside the housing channel and comprises elastically deformable means which laterally delimit the housing channel. The elastically deformable means are configured to be deformed elastically by means of a fluid under pressure, so as to selectively define a reduction in section of the housing channel suitable to hold the spout.
