It is an objective of the present invention to provide a cap opening tool set that enables the user of a container to reduce surely an inner pressure of the container and loosen smoothly a screw cap even if the user has only a weak arm power. A cap opening tool set according to the present invention includes a ring and a cap opener. The ring includes a guide section for facing a circumferential surface section of a screw cap. The cap opener includes a head to be placed over the screw cap and arms extending from the head. The head includes a contact section, a top-surface facing section, and a needle. The contact section enters a space formed between the screw cap and the guide section and presses the circumferential surface section of the screw cap. The needle penetrates the top surface section of the screw cap.

A jetted bag opener separates mixed solid waste from flexible containers such as plastic and paper bags, and includes a housing configured with an ingress and an egress, at least two sets of a plurality of fluid delivery nozzles, where a first set of the nozzles is arranged along a sidewall at a first side of the housing, and a second set of the nozzles is arranged along the sidewall at a second side of the housing opposite the first side, and as fluid is sprayed from the nozzle outlets, the fluid is delivered at a force sufficient to penetrate into the flexible containers passing through the housing to thereby create an opening in the flexible containers for release of the mixed solid waste held therein.

A device for opening and closing a paint can without damage to the paint can lid or paint can. The device can also perforate the paint can with holes around the perimeter of the paint can rim so that paint in the rim can return to the paint can. The device includes a T-shaped base with a can opener at the lower end of the T, two perforating spikes on the bottom, four bumpers for closing the paint can, and a magnet for holding the device to a paint can.

Disclosed is a device and method for a unitary paint can hand tool with a combination of a pry tab for lifting a paint can lid, a piercing tip to pierce the paint can gutter, a depth stop to stop the piercing tip from going too far into the gutter and a hammer on the proximal end for pounding the lid back onto the paint can. It creates an all in one tool that is perfect for a painter to use, without the need to carry around three separate tools. My unitary tool replaces the old way of doing things with a screwdriver for prying, an awl and a hammer for punching the gutter, and a soft hammer to reseal the lid back on the paint can.

A walled dispenser base for use with a removable bottle collar for delivering a liquid from a supply bottle has a hollow interior. A rim is formed at a top portion of the walled dispenser base. A foot is formed at a bottom portion of the walled dispenser base. A side opening is formed in a sidewall of the walled dispenser base. The side opening enables a valve coupled to a mouth of the supply bottle inverted and positioned within the removable collar to pass from an interior of the walled dispenser base to a location outside the walled dispenser base.

A device for opening and closing a paint can without damage to the paint can lid or paint can. A piercing tool for breaking sealed packaging includes a body for placing a target item. A barrel is provided on one sidewall of the body; a piercing component is slidably installed inside the barrel, and a piercing member arranged on the piercing component may enter the body along the barrel. An elastic element is connected to both the body and the piercing component. The piercing member is displaced from the body into the barrel to cause elastic deformation of the elastic element. A first limiting structure capable of resisting the elastic force is provided between the barrel and the piercing component to restrict the piercing member within the barrel. After the target item is fixed within the body, the piercing member springs back into the body along the barrel under the elastic force of the elastic element to quickly pierce the sealed packaging.

We describe apparatuses, systems, method, reagents, and kits for conducting assays as well as process for their preparation. They are particularly well suited for conducting automated sampling, sample preparation, and analysis in a multi-well plate assay format. For example, they may be used for automated analysis of particulates in air and/or liquid samples derived therefrom in environmental monitoring.

A portable drinking device capable of fitting over a typical pressurized beverage can to direct the flow of fluid from the can to a recipient's mouth. The portable drinking device may be positioned over the open top of the can and the can and portable drinking device are slightly tilted sideways. After the can has been punctured on its side, the entire assembly is positioned so that the portable drinking device directs a rapid and steady stream of fluid from the punctured can through the tube of the portable drinking device into a recipient's mouth.

Embodiments of adapters for emptying liquid-filled containers are provided herein. In some embodiments, an adapter for emptying a liquid-filled container includes: an annular ring configured to at least partially be disposed in an opening of the liquid-filled container; one or more spokes extending at least partially across a central opening of the annular ring; and a protrusion extending from the one or more spokes to a location vertically above the annular ring and configured for piercing a seal of the liquid-filled container.
