A device for cutting the foil on a bottle, including a circular shaped body that has a top end and a lower end, wherein the body includes a lip at the top end that protrudes inward such that it can rest on top of the mouth of a bottle, and a plurality of cutting elements attached to the lower end of the body on the inside, such that when the outside of the body is pressed by the hand of a user the cutting elements make contact with foil wrapped around the top end of a bottle, and where the distance from the top end of the body to the lower end is sufficient to enable the cutting elements to make contact with the foil below the bead of the bottle.

The utensil is defined by a generally elongate body such that the hook and the cutter are oriented at a common end thereof. The body defines a handle that is associated with the opposite longitudinal end portion of the body. The body includes a slot that extends in the longitudinal direction such that the squeegee is defined by portions of the body adjacent the slot. An open end of the slot is disposed proximate the handle such that, during emptying of an opened bag, the hand of the user associated with the handle can support a cantilevered portion of the body that defines one of the sides of the squeegee.

A can lid cutter is a can lid cutter that cuts a lid from a can by cutting a cylindrical raised portion of the outer periphery at the upper end of the can, the can lid cutter includes: a main body having a circular recessed portion formed in a circular shape for receiving the raised portion; a blade provided in the main body to cut the raised portion; an operation portion for pressing the blade toward the raised portion in a state where the main body is mounted on the can; and a tab holder that is provided inside the circular recessed portion and holds a stay-on-tab of the can in a state where the main body is mounted on the can.

The folding utility tool comprising a handle comprising at least two handle sides spaced apart and defining a tool cavity therebetween; a tool arm pivotally connected to the handle, wherein the tool arm comprises a drive pin connected to and extending out from a side of the tool arm; a toggle component pivotally connected to at least one of the at least two handle sides, wherein the toggle component comprises a retaining notch; and a spring comprising an arcuate segment along a longitudinal axis of the spring, wherein the spring is coupled to at least one of the at least two handle sides at one end and the toggle component at another end, wherein the drive pin is positioned within the retaining notch when at least part of the tool arm is folded into the tool cavity.

An apparatus has a housing configured to receive a single serving beverage dispenser comprising a receptacle, a compostable product within the receptacle and a lid sealing an end of the receptacle. A cutter assembly is positioned at an end of the housing. The cutter assembly has a lid cutter and a receptacle cutter. A grip ring is configured to rotate the cutter assembly in response to manual manipulation, such that the lid cutter separates the lid from the receptacle and the receptacle cutter separates a top portion of the receptacle from a bottom portion of the receptacle. The housing has an open end through which the bottom portion of the receptacle is removed and a lid end through which the lid and top portion of the receptacle are removed.

A folding knife with a push button assisted-open mechanism is disclosed. The folding knife comprising a handle with at least two handle sides spaced apart and defining a blade cavity; a blade pivotally connected to the handle, wherein the blade comprises a drive pin connected to and extending out from a side of the blade; a toggle component pivotally connected to at least one of the at least two handle sides at a pivot pin, wherein the toggle component comprises a retaining notch; and a spring comprising an arcuate segment along a longitudinal axis of the spring. The spring is coupled to at least one of the at least two handle sides at one end and the toggle component at another end, wherein the drive pin is positioned within the retaining notch when at least part of the blade is folded into the blade cavity.

Devices and methods for can opening and draining. In one example, the can opening and draining device includes a plunger with a lower section that extends from an upper body and a base with an opening. In the can opening and draining device, the lower section is configured to mate with the opening in the base and the base includes a blade which is coupled to an interior of the base. The base further includes a drain opening that extends through a wall of the base.
