Evacuated bottle system

An evacuated bottle system including a bottle defining a hollow interior, the bottle having a neck with a rim defining an opening; a cap assembly supported on the bottle, the cap assembly including a funnel having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being insertable within the interior of the bottle and the second portion engaging a portion of the bottle to support the funnel above the rim, the funnel defining a bore that fluidly communicates with the hollow interior of the bottle; a self-sealing membrane that covers the bore formed by the funnel to selectively seal the hollow interior of the bottle; a cap attachable to the bottle, the cap including a cover portion that extends at least partially over the self-sealing membrane to restrain movement thereof, the cover portion being axially spaced from the self-sealing membrane to define a gap that permits axial movement of the self-sealing membrane to selectively open the bottle to fluid communication outside of the bottle.

Bucket Funnel

A bucket funnel has a funnel body which clips onto a bucket with a top flange. The funnel body has a semicircular lower edge which has about the same radius of curvature as the bucket, but only extends about halfway around. There are outer tabs with inward facing channels at the ends of the lower edge of the funnel body to clip into the flange of the bucket. There is also a spring loaded release clip at about the middle of the lower edge to clip onto the outer flange of the bucket. An inner apron extends down from the lower edge of the funnel body to form a seal against the inner wall of the bucket. An interchangeable conical nozzle attaches to the funnel body for dispensing of fluids of various viscosities, such as glue, paint or fresh concrete.

Funnel assembly for a beverage brewer

A funnel assembly for a beverage brewer comprises: a central body with an upper opening for receiving a brewed beverage from the beverage brewer and a lower opening for directing the brewed beverage into a selected one of two or more shuttles; and an upper clip portion configured to snap onto and engage a shaft extending from the beverage brewer, such that the funnel assembly is pivotable about an axis defined by the shaft between a first position in which it directs the brewed beverage into a first of the two or more shuttles and a second position in which it directs the brewed beverage into a second of the two or more shuttles.

A drain spout includes a tubular structure with threads on at least a first end for attaching to a small bunghole of a draining barrel. A process of draining material from the draining barrel includes screwing the drain spout into the small bunghole on the draining barrel. The draining barrel is aligned beside a catch barrel with the small bungholes of the barrels on the outsides and the two large bungholes side by side. The draining barrel is tilted with the drain spout towards the catch barrel and lifting the bottom of the draining barrel while inserting the second end of the drain spout into the big bunghole of the catch barrel. The draining barrel is rotated around the drain spout acting as the axis of rotation approximately 180 degrees until the lip of both barrels meet. The draining barrel is leaned back supported by the drain spout while draining.

Refueling auxiliary device

A capless refueling mechanism includes a fill opening side shut-off valve disposed near the fill opening, and a fuel tank side shut-off valve disposed nearer to a fuel tank than the fill opening side shut-off valve. The refueling auxiliary device has a guide pipe section and a funnel section, and pressing of the fill opening side shut-off valve and the fuel tank side shut-off valve via an end of the guide pipe section causes a valve element to be moved away from a seat portion and insertion of a nozzle into the funnel section allows refueling. The outer circumferential surface of the guide pipe section is provided with an enlarged diameter section that regulates a valve opening degree of the valve element of the fuel tank side shut-off valve.
