RECOMMENDING MODIFICATION FOR POD-BASED BEVERAGES
Systems and methods for customizing beverage profiles, such as customizing beverage pods via input received via web-based portals or interfaces, are described. For example, the systems and methods may provide users with interactive interfaces that facilitate the reception of user input regarding the customization of a beverage, such as the customization of a nutritional or flavor profile of a beverage, such as a smoothie.
PORTABLE, POD-BASED SMOOTHIE MAKER
The apparatuses described herein provide a portable, pod-based beverage maker, such as an apparatus that makes smoothies and other similar beverages from pod-based ingredient mixtures. The apparatus provides an easy and simple way to combine ingredients in pods with water, ice, and other mixing liquids.
CUSTOMIZING BEVERAGE PROFILES FOR A USER
Systems and methods for customizing beverage profiles and associated consumption programs, such as customizing smoothie pods to be used in making smoothies and other beverages, are described. For example, the systems and methods may receive or obtain information associated with a user's previous, current, and/or future activities (e.g., workouts or training sessions), a user's sleep activities, a user's current mental acuity or sharpness, a user's health or fitness, and so on, and determine or create a beverage profile for the user based on the information for the user. Further, the systems and methods may communicate and/or facilitate interactions with various online health or wellness programs.
REFRIGERATOR WITH POD-BASED BEVERAGE DISPENSER
Systems and methods for dispensing beverages, such as beverages based on pods of various mixtures (e.g., smoothies based on smoothie pods) are described. The systems and methods described herein provide a refrigerator integrated with a pod-based beverage dispenser, such as a smoothie dispenser, that makes beverages using the contents of a pod or cartridge, as well as water and/or ice from the refrigerator.
Liquid dispensing tap and closure assembly therefor
A liquid dispensing tap having a body and a closure assembly. The closure assembly having a stirrup, a closure member and a spring assembly attached to each of the stirrup and the closure member. The spring assembly having a first spring and a second spring on opposing sides of the closure member, the springs having a first end and a second end and a curved region therebetween, the first ends of the spring members being oblique to the closure axis of the closure member and the second ends of the spring members being oblique to the stirrup plane of the stirrup plane.
DRIP CATCHER APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus and method for collecting drips from a spout on a beverage dispenser has a table top base that is held in place by the weight of a beverage dispenser. The table top base supports a drip catch reservoir, and drips hit a back plate with guides before washing into the drip catch reservoir. The drip catch reservoir has an outlet allowing drainage into a disposal tank without moving the apparatus.
Fluid Modifying and Dispensing System
Implementations of fluid modifying and dispensing systems may include a fluid modifying assembly having a fluid modification unit including a gas dosing unit configured to infuse a fluid with a gas, a filter configured to filter the fluid, and a pH regulator configured to modify a pH of the fluid. The fluid modifying assembly may include a temperature regulation system coupled to the fluid modification unit. The fluid modifying assembly may also include a dosing system coupled to the fluid modification unit. The dosing system may be configured to add one or more supplements to the fluid. The fluid modifying and dispensing system may include a fluid dispensing assembly having a faucet coupled to the fluid modifying assembly and a vessel having a lid and a base. The base of the vessel may be configured to couple directly to the faucet to fill the vessel with the fluid.
Dispensing architecture for a hybrid fountain beverage consumable cart and galley dispensing system
Embodiments of the invention described herein thus provide systems and methods for providing fountain beverage consumables in an easily accessible and removable and replaceable form. In one example, the fountain beverage consumables are provided on a cart that has interface connections with a dispensing unit. The dispensing unit may be mounted in a galley. When the cart is in its docking station with respect to the dispensing unit, fluid communication between the fountain beverage consumables and the dispensing unit is provided.
Adjustment mechanism for a beverage tap handle
Apparatuses and methods are described herein that allow a tap handle to be quickly and easily reoriented or replaced after being attached to a spigot. In an embodiment, an adjustment mechanism for a beverage tap handle includes a connecting element and a housing. The connecting element includes a stem and a first mating feature, and the housing includes an aperture to receive the stem and a second mating feature configured to mate with the first mating feature. The housing and the connecting element are (i) rotatable with respect to each other about a central axis of the stem when the first mating feature and second mating feature are not mated, and (ii) prevented from rotating with respect to each other about the central axis of the stem when the first mating feature and the second mating feature are mated.
