A point-of-sale custom color system for tinting base paints and stains includes an array of water-only fluid colorants, including at least white, green, blue and red water-only colorants, which can be used to tint water-borne paints and stains. When tinting solvent-borne base paints or stains, a synergist containing one or more surfactants and optional dispersing agents or optional cosolvents is added to or is a part of the solvent-borne base paint or stains, and enables effective tinting using the water-only colorants.

The invention relates to a cartridge housing comprising a diluting means, especially a water supply, a mixing chamber in which the diluting means and a beverage and/or food substrate are mixed, and an outlet. The cartridge housing is fitted with a hollow rod such that the sealing film of the cartridge is pierced as soon as the cartridge is inserted into the cartridge housing, thereby creating the flow connection between the cartridge and a mixing chamber.

A multiple beverage dispensing system is housed within an ice chest having a plurality of interior sections and a lid. Within a central section is an ice screw which is configured to pull ice stored within the central section out of the device through an exterior door. Systems and methods for preparing and dispensing food contents, typically molten chocolate. In one aspect, a method for treating chocolate includes placing a quantity of chocolate defining a chocolate surface in a vacuum chamber, heating the quantity of chocolate to a temperature sufficient to substantially liquefy the quantity of chocolate, decreasing the pressure of the vacuum chamber to a predetermined pressure, wherein the chocolate surface is subjected to a partial vacuum and wherein substantially all trapped gases are outgassed from the quantity of chocolate, holding the pressure of the vacuum chamber at the predetermined pressure for a predetermined period of time, and increasing the pressure of the vacuum chamber to room pressure. The chocolate comprises cacao, cacao butter, and sugar. During treatment, the temperature of the chocolate is maintained sufficiently high to maintain the chocolate as a liquid.

A system for mixing and dispensing solution, such as a cleaning solution, includes a body with a first flow passage extending between a diluent inlet and an outlet, and a second flow passage extending between a concentrate inlet and the first flow passage. The system further includes a container for concentrate, with a container including a container valve. Moving the body axially toward the container to seat the body on the container opens the container valve for a flow of concentrate from the container to the first flow passage via the second flow passage. Further, moving the body axially away from the container to unseat the body from the container closes the container valve to the flow of concentrate.
