SYSTEM, CARTRIDGE, BEVERAGE PREPARATION UNIT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BEVERAGE
Disclosed is a system for producing a beverage, in particular a cold beverage, comprising a cartridge that has a reservoir filled with a beverage substance, a beverage preparation unit with a cartridge receptacle into which the cartridge can be reversibly inserted, and a cartridge discharge device which causes at least partial transfer of the beverage substance from the reservoir into a mixing chamber; furthermore, the beverage preparation unit comprises a fluid supply which opens into the mixing chamber, or the system includes a movable plunger which is placed inside the reservoir and can be transferred from a starting position into a final position by means of the cartridge discharge device.
Beverage producing system comprising a disposable container
A beverage preparation system for making hot or cold beverages includes a beverage dispenser which comprises an electromagnet and a control unit for controlling the electromagnet. The system further comprises a new disposable container for beverage ingredients, which comprises a magnetically actuated dispensing means having an anchor that is movable between an open and a closed position. When the anchor opens the dispensing means in the open position, a continuous flow of beverage ingredients from the reservoir through and from the dispensing means occurs.
DISPENSER HAVING A CARTRIDGE HOLDER
The invention relates to a dispenser having a cartridge holder.
DISPENSER HAVING A CARTRIDGE HOLDER
The invention relates to a dispenser having a cartridge holder.
Automated beverage generating system and method of operating the same
A method of operating an automated beverage generating system. The method comprises receiving one or more electrical signals representative of an order for a specified beverage. The method further comprises translating the order into one or more steps required to generate the specified beverage. The method still further comprises entering at least one of the required steps into a dynamic sequence corresponding to a module of the system configured to perform that particular step, the dynamic sequence representing an order in which one or more steps in the dynamic sequence will be performed by the module for one or more beverages to be generated by the system.
Liquor flavor infuser
A device for infusing flavor into liquids fits and seals to the neck of a bottle. The device has an infusing chamber that is selectively in fluid communication with the liquid in the bottle. The infusing chamber holds a replaceable infusing material that partially dissolves and infuses flavor as liquid passes over it. A check ball selectively separates the infusing chamber from the liquid in the bottle to prevent any infused liquid from returning to the bottle. The device has a passage for makeup air to enter the bottle as infused liquid is dispensed. The infusing material is replaceable by accessing the infusing chamber.
Vessel extraction apparatus and vessel therefore
The present invention discloses a vessel, comprising: an essentially cylindrical vessel body having an opening, a cylindrical wall and a cylinder base; a first groove formed in the cylindrical wall and extending in axial direction at least a predetermined portion of the vessel body; and a second groove formed in the cylindrical wall and extending in axial direction at least a predetermined portion of the vessel body; wherein the first groove is an orientation groove defining the orientation of the vessel with respect to a guide of a fluid extraction apparatus; and wherein the second groove is a coding groove identifying the type of vessel; and
a vessel extraction apparatus, adapted to extract fluid form a plurality of vessels, comprising: a plurality of receiving openings, wherein each opening is adapted to receive one of the vessels; wherein a first protrusion and a second protrusion are associated to each receiving opening; wherein the first protrusion is adapted to engage with a first groove of a vessel; wherein the second protrusion is adapted to engage with a second groove of a vessel that is of a vessel type corresponding to the respective receiving opening;
wherein the distance from the first protrusion to the second protrusion of a first receiving opening differs from the distance from the first protrusion to the second protrusion of a second receiving opening.
CARTRIDGE RECEIVER, CARTRIDGE SYSTEM, DRINK PREPARATION MACHINE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DRINK
The invention relates to a cartridge receiver (10) for producing a drink (70) using a cartridge (2) that comprises a reservoir (6) filled with a drink substance (7), it being possible to insert the cartridge receiver (10) into a drink preparation machine (3) and connect it to the cartridge (2), wherein the cartridge receiver (10) comprises a mixing chamber (8) that can be brought into fluidic connection with the reservoir (6), and a fluid supply (12) that opens into the mixing chamber (8). The invention is characterised in that the cartridge receiver (10) comprises a mandrel guide (80) and a puncturing mandrel (73) that is displaceably mounted within said mandrel guide (80), wherein the puncturing mandrel (73) can be displaced between a retracted position in which said puncturing mandrel (73) is positioned at a distance from a sealing element (18) of the cartridge (2), and an extended position in which said puncturing mandrel (73) pierces the sealing element (18) and projects into the reservoir (6). The outer wall of the puncturing mandrel (73) comprises at least one lateral channel (71) for conducting the drink substance (7) in the direction of the mixing chamber (8) when the sealing element (18) has been pierced.
Multi-bead applicator
A system for applying a two-part adhesive to a substrate includes two separate trays for holding a 15 gallon capacity drum containing a two-part adhesive compound, where the trays are tiltable independent of each other, a prime mover for providing an output torque, a first pump connected to the prime mover for receiving the output torque, the first pump having an inlet and an outlet, a second pump connected to the prime mover for receiving the output torque, the second pump having an inlet and an outlet, a first compound in communication with the inlet of the first pump, a second compound in communication with the inlet of the second pump, a first accumulator in communication with the outlet of the first pump, a second accumulator in communication with the outlet of the second pump, a first manifold in communication with the outlet of the first pump, and a second manifold in communication with the outlet of the second pump.
