BEVERAGE DISPENSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A beverage dispensing system comprises a beverage dispenser electrically coupled to a point of sale. The point of sale has an input module, a beverage selection module, and a dispensing module. The input module includes a user interface configured to receive a user identification and a beverage selection. The beverage selection module receives data from the input module that includes the beverage selection and identifies an ingredient in the beverage selection. The dispensing module receives data from one or both of the input module and the beverage selection module that includes the beverage selection and the ingredient. The dispensing module also generates a beverage dispensing instruction based at least in part on the beverage selection and the ingredient. The beverage dispenser receives data from the dispensing module that includes the beverage dispensing instruction and dispenses a beverage according to the beverage dispensing instruction.
Apparatus and method for displacing air from wine containers
A device for preventing air from displacing wine poured from a bottle. A retainable spout assembly comprises a bottle seal, a base having a liquid channel and vent channel, and a spout. A disposable bag assembly comprises folded limp inflatable bag attached to a vent tube which is attachable to the vent channel. As wine is poured, air enters the vent tube and inflates the pliable bag. After the bottle contents are consumed, the retainable subassembly may be removed from the disposable subassembly by leaving the disposable subassembly in the bottle or container. The retainable subassembly may be cleaned, and a replacement subassembly attached to the vent channel before inserting into a new container. The air displacement device may be inserted into a bottle before or after pouring wine. A pump or manual blow tube can be used to remove air from a partially-filled bottle.
Fuel additive bottle for use with capless fuel system
A fuel additive bottle has a neck and thread pattern that allows insertion into a capless fuel system so the bottle's contents can be poured by gravity into a fuel tank. The neck of the bottle is elongated and has a diameter of approximately 0.854, and the novel thread pattern includes thread interruptions that form at least one threadless path. In use, the spring loaded tabs of a capless fuel system are depressed by the threadless path portion of bottle, thereby triggering the self-sealing mechanism to open, so the fluid receiving aperture is exposed. The use of the threadless paths facilitates the safe and easy entry and removal of the bottle from the capless fuel system.
Bottle in box container and blank
An improved container blank of foldable material and resulting structure to hold a fluid filled carton is provided.
ROTATIONALLY SEALABLE WINE DISPENSER THAT PRESERVES WINE QUALITY WHEN THE DISPENSER IS PARTIALLY FULL
A wine dispenser is disclosed that preserves wine by reducing oxidation when partially filled with wine. The dispenser includes: a bottle body having a uniform cross section; a piston disposed within the bottle body for pushing the wine therethrough; a drive member capable of pushing the piston along the bottle body; and a dispensing assembly attached to the dispensing end. The dispensing assembly includes: a shoulder having a wine flow channel, the wine being able to flow out only via the wine flow channel; a neck in sealable and rotatable relationship with the shoulder, the neck having a pouring end and a flow regulation end, the flow regulation end having at least one opening that can be rotated so as to permit or prevent wine flow in from the wine flow channel, through the at least one opening, and out through the pouring end, when pressure is applied to the piston.
LIQUID DISPENSER
A product package includes a container and a lid coupled to the container for rotation about an axis relative to the container. The product package further includes a child-resistant lock configured normally to block access to the contents of the container at the selection of an adult user.
ADDITIVES IN FILTER AS YOU POUR SYSTEM
On example of a fluid dispensing system includes an unfiltered water container body defining an internal storage volume configured to hold a volume of water, a fluid outlet arranged for fluid communication with the internal storage volume, and a filter element positioned in the internal storage volume. With this configuration, a water dispensing process can be performed in which a single continuous stream of unfiltered water from the unfiltered water container body can pass through the filter element and be dispensed from the unfiltered water container body as a stream of filtered water. A water soluble tablet with an additive is positioned in the internal storage volume downstream of the filter medium such that the filtered water can pass out of the filter element and into contact with the water soluble tablet before being dispensed from the fluid outlet.
CONTROLLED LIQUID POURER AND A METHOD FOR LIQUOR CONSUMPTION
A controlled liquid pourer that may include a liquid path, an air path, a flow control mechanism that is configured to control, during a liquid consumption iteration, (a) a flow of liquor from a bottle and through the liquid path, and (b) a flow of air through the air path and into the bottle, a mechanical coupling mechanism and a locking mechanism configured to selectively lock the controlled liquid pourer to the bottle.
Motorized liquid dispenser
A beverage dispenser comprises a bottle holder, a motor, and a controller. The bottle holder is configured to hold a bottle of a liquid beverage. The motor is connected to the bottle holder to cause the bottle holder to tilt. The controller is configured to control the bottle holder via the motor to experience multiple tilting movements, including multiple tilting movements each causing the bottle to tilt by a predetermined angular amount to bring the bottle into a pouring position to dispense a portion of the liquid beverage from the bottle into a serving receptacle. The liquid beverage may be wine, and the serving receptacle may be a wine glass. The liquid beverage may be liquor, and the serving receptacle may be a shot glass. The portion of the liquid may be an amount of liquid to fill the receptacle to a designated level.
Windshield washer preparation and a method to make the preparation
The invention is a windshield washer preparation, a method for producing the preparation and a device that produces the preparation. The method uses the dehydration of methanol and distillation of dimethyl ether to produce the preparation and a propellant for pressurized packaging. The washer preparation contains deionized water, methanol, dimethyl ether, dimethyl carbonate and additional compounds selected from the group consisting of dyes, de-foaming agents and surfactants. The disclosed method and device can formulate varying combinations of methanol, deionized water and dimethyl ether using the methanol dehydration reaction prior to the addition of dimethyl carbonate. The preparation can be used in automobile washer reservoirs or directly on the windshield using trigger spray applicators or an aerosol can. The excess dimethyl ether from the method can be used taken from the system and stored for future use.
