Additives in filter as you pour system

On example of a fluid dispensing system includes an unfiltered water container body defining an internal storage volume configured to hold a volume of water, a fluid outlet arranged for fluid communication with the internal storage volume, and a filter element positioned in the internal storage volume. With this configuration, a water dispensing process can be performed in which a single continuous stream of unfiltered water from the unfiltered water container body can pass through the filter element and be dispensed from the unfiltered water container body as a stream of filtered water. A water soluble tablet with an additive is positioned in the internal storage volume downstream of the filter medium such that the filtered water can pass out of the filter element and into contact with the water soluble tablet before being dispensed from the fluid outlet.

A stopper has a head part and a stopper part. The stopper part extends from the head part to a lower end and has flanges, between the head part and the lower end, that have different diameters that increase from the head part to the lower end of the stopper part. A container has a mouth and neck and shoulder inner surfaces. The stopper part is inserted into the container through the mouth, the head part remains outside the mouth, at least one of the flanges proximate neck sealingly engages the neck inner surface, and at least one of the flanges proximate to the shoulder sealing engages the shoulder inner surface. A fluid tube is retained by the stopper. The fluid tube extends from an inlet within the container outwardly through the mouth to an outlet outside the container.

Liquid dispensing and aerating system

A liquid dispensing device and system to dispense, or aerate and dispense a liquid such as wine through a spout. The dispensing device having multiple air ports and aeration chambers to form multiple aerating segments during the pour process. The dispensing device having a handle to increase grasping of a liquid container and preventing accidental separation of the device and a container.

A product package includes a container and a lid coupled to the container for rotation about an axis relative to the container. The product package further includes a child-resistant lock configured normally to block access to the contents of the container at the selection of an adult user.

Wireless control system for dispensing beverages from a bottle

A pour spout, for attaching to a bottle, has a first wireless transceiver and a valve for selectively controlling flow of a beverage from the bottle. A server interface, adapted to be carried by a person who serves beverages, has a second wireless transceiver. A control unit is provided to wirelessly communicate with the second transceiver. In one mode, the pour spout transmits a spout identifier to the server interface, which responds by transmitting the spout identifier and a server identifier to the control unit. The control unit responds with a reply transmission causing the server interface to command the pour spout to open the valve. In another mode, a person selects a cocktail, that results in the control unit sending designations of a plurality of liquor ingredients to the server interface. The server interface controls dispensing each of the plurality of liquor ingredients.

ELECTRONIC POURER

An electronic pourer to dispense a liquid is described. In one embodiment, the electronic pourer includes an orientation determining subsystem configured to determine an orientation (angular rotation) of the electronic pourer, a wireless communication subsystem, and a processing system. The processing system can be configured to receive an angular rotation of the electronic pourer, determine whether liquid has been dispensed from a dispensing chamber of the electronic pourer, and transmit electronic pourer data to an external computing device.

BEVERAGE EXTRACTOR WITH CONTROLLER

A system and method for dispensing beverage from a container, such as wine from a wine bottle. Dispensing may be automatically controlled based on a detected orientation of the container, e.g., dispensing may occur when a bottle is tilted as if to pour from the bottle and stopped when the bottle is oriented upright. Dispensing may be stopped when the container is rotated about its longitudinal axis even while in a pour orientation. A remaining amount of beverage in the container and/or an amount of pressurized gas used to drive dispensing may be detected and beverage dispensing controlled accordingly.

An electronic pourer can be used with an inventory system for inventory and/or accounting purposes. In one embodiment, the electronic pourer includes an orientation determining subsystem configured to determine an orientation of the electronic pourer, a wireless communication subsystem, a processing subsystem having at least one processing core, and a power source configured to power up the electronic pourer. The processing subsystem can be coupled to the orientation determining subsystem and the wireless communication subsystem to determine whether liquid has been dispensed from the electronic pourer based on the angular displacement of the orientation determining subsystem, and transmit information to an external computing device via the wireless communication subsystem. In another embodiment, the electronic pourer is equipped with a subsystem.
