CHILD-RESISTANT DRAIN VALVE
A safety device allows selective opening or closing of a drain opening of a tank, to render such action more difficult for a child. The device has a body, a plug, a means for restricting axial movement of the plug in a conduit that runs through the body, and, optionally, a tether. The conduit is adapted for engagement in the drain opening. The plug is frictionally engaged in the conduit. The means for restricting axial movement has complementary elements disposed on the plug and on the body, such that, in a first rotational position, the plug is axially retained relative to the conduit and, in a second rotational position, the plug is not restricted from axial movement out of the conduit. The tether attaches to the plug and the body to keep the plug proximate to the body.
Desktop Water Bottle Dispenser
A dispenser base for delivering liquid from a supply bottle has a dispenser base foot. A support member attaches to the dispenser base foot. A second support member attaches to the dispenser base foot. The support members extend upward from the dispenser base foot. A rim for supporting the supply bottle inverted and positioned within the rim is attached to the support members at a location above the dispenser base foot. A lamp fixture, a support device for securing a piercing tool, a retaining device having a threaded cylinder for securing a piercing tool and a bottle cap of the supply bottle, a bottle collar, and a self-powered light engage the dispenser base.
Pouch connector and related method
A pouch connector includes a safety cap having a cap base portion and a main connector disposed opposite the safety cap. The main connector and safety cap are configured to receive a portion of a pouch therebetween. The main connector includes a piercing member for piercing the pouch, an actuating portion for actuating the piercing member and a main connector base portion. The piercing member is configured to pierce through a portion of the pouch so as to provide fluid communication between a substance inside the pouch and the interior of the main connector. A polymeric membrane is coupled to at least one of the cap base portion and the main connector base portion.
PIERCING DEVICE FOR VENTING A CONTAINER
A container for dispensing a liquid includes a body and a piercing device. The body includes an interior storage volume, an outlet through the first wall for dispensing the liquid, a first track disposed in a first side wall of the body, and a second track disposed in a second side wall of the body, the second side wall opposite the first side wall. The piercing device can be slidably coupled to the body and includes a first rail configured to slide within the first track, a second rail configured to slide within the second track, and a piercer that includes a piercing end. The piercer can slide from a first position to a second position to pierce the body and create a vent opening.
IMPROVEMENTS IN BREWING
An apparatus for brewing and dispensing a beverage comprising a fermentation container for containing and fermenting a beverage, the fermentation container comprising a first outlet, and a collector for collecting waste from the fermentation container, the collector being attachable to and detachable from the fermentation container at the first outlet.
LIQUID SUPPLY APPARATUS
There is provided a liquid supply apparatus eliminating the need for a power supply, having relatively light weight and small footprint, and ensuring a stable liquid supply. The liquid supply apparatus includes a first support member, a second support member, a balloon having one end supported by the first support member and the other end supported by the second support member, and a casing having a constant longitudinal length. The balloon is disposed in the casing and is configured so as to be able to hold a liquid therein and discharge the liquid therefrom. When the balloon holds the liquid, the one end and the other end of the balloon are positioned in the case.
DELIVERING TAP WITH INTERNAL VALVE WITH FLEXIBLE EDGES AND MULTIPLE SEALS
A delivering tap is described, for delivering liquids from a container comprising a main body with a connecting element comprising fitting means with the container, and a supporting body adapted to be closed by a plug comprising an upper plug, an internal sealing valve and a stem, the supporting body comprising an outlet opening, an internal sealing surface and external guiding means; the upper plug comprising the internal guiding means, first fastening means and upper sealing means; the stem comprising second fastening means to the first fastening means of the upper plug, stem sealing means, and the lower sealing means; the internal valve comprising second valve sealing means and the first valve sealing means.
Dispensing closure
A push-button dispensing closure is provided and comprises a dispensing passage, a push button and a dosing chamber. The closure is movable between a first, closed position in which: the push button is released, the dosing chamber can fill with flowable product, and product cannot pass from the dosing chamber to the dispensing passage; and a second, open position in which: the push button is depressed such that product can flow from the dosing chamber through the dispensing passage and product cannot flow into the dosing chamber.
