Method and apparatus for dispensing liquids from a plurality of cartridges
An apparatus for dispensing a plurality of liquids, in particular colorants for paints, comprising a support, such as a turntable or a linear table, defining a plurality of positions and a plurality of containers holding a liquid, mounted on the support at the positions, and provided with a pump and/or a valve for dispensing the liquid from the container. At least some of the containers form, together with a respective liquid and pump and/or valve, a cartridge, which cartridge is releasably mounted in the apparatus.
Pouring closure for the neck of a canister or any container for controlled multi-sided pouring
This pouring closure permits controlled multi-side pouring by means of a canister spout. The pouring closure consists of a spout attachment (2), which forms a channel (14), which is reduced in size with respect to the spout and an upper outer edge of which forms a protruding drop lip (11). A closure cover (1), which acts as a jet former, forms a pipe (4), which extends downward and which fits into a channel (14) on the spout attachment (2) in a sealing manner. The pipe (4) extending downward has a lateral window (5), which extends at least around 90 of the pipe circumference. The remaining pipe circumference is doubled-walled. The interior thus formed leads toward the outside in the axial direction at the lower end of the pipe (4) as an air channel (7), and the air channel (7) likewise leads toward the outside only in the upper region of the window (5) laterally on both sides of the window. Thus, pouring can occur over each point of the drop lip (11) with a jet that always remains constant and with sufficient pressure equalization in the canister during the entire pouring process.
Detachable dispensing systems for containers
Detachable dispensing systems for containers are provided that include a handling portion having an outer ring configured to selectively secure and, alternatively, remove the handling portion about a dispensing opening of the container and an inner ring defining a circular aperture within the handling portion, a hollow rigid member slideably disposed within the circular aperture and selectively positionable between a recessed position and, alternatively, an extended position, and an extendible spout at least partially disposed in the hollow rigid member and connected to the hollow rigid member, in which the extendible spout is configured to dispense a pourable material from the container through the distal opening when the handling portion is engaged about the dispensing opening of the container. Material containers are also provided that include a container having a dispensing opening and the detachable dispensing system selectively connected to the container about the dispensing opening.
Liquid dispensing tap and closure assembly therefor
A liquid dispensing tap having a body and a closure assembly. The closure assembly having a stirrup, a closure member and a spring assembly attached to each of the stirrup and the closure member. The spring assembly having a first spring and a second spring on opposing sides of the closure member, the springs having a first end and a second end and a curved region therebetween, the first ends of the spring members being oblique to the closure axis of the closure member and the second ends of the spring members being oblique to the stirrup plane of the stirrup plane.
Liquid dispensing faucet with pull-to-open valve element
A faucet for dispensing beverages includes a valve element that is selectively moved from its seated position to its unseated position by manual linear movement of a handle in a first direction from a retracted position toward an extended position. Movement of the handle in the first direction induces movement of the valve element in the first direction. A shaft projects through the handle and an outer end of the shaft provides a reaction structure or button that is engaged by a thumb of a user during movement of the handle from its retracted position toward its extended position. When in its extended position, the handle can be rotated to a lock-open position where interference between the handle and the faucet body prevents movement of the handle from its extended position to its retracted position whereby the faucet is maintained in an opened condition for continuous dispensing of liquid.
Product dispensing system
A product dispensing system includes a housing that has a sidewall with at least one communication element provided thereon. The sidewall has at least a first side and a second different side coupled to the first side, the first side and the second side each configured to extend below a bottom of a container coupled to the housing. A dispensing opening is provided on a first side of the sidewall. A switch controls an automatic dispensing sequence. The at least one communication element is configured to provide guidance as to how to set-up, hold, orient, spray, or otherwise use the product dispensing system, and the second different side of the sidewall is configured to accommodate a user's hand in an ergonomic manner.
Removable brace for fueling hose nozzle
A removable fuel handle brace is provided, comprising: a pair of parallel horizontal sides, each having a hook on an inner end bent approximately 180 in a first direction; a pair of parallel vertical sides having a first end extending from an outer end of each horizontal side approximately 90 in a second direction opposite the first direction; an upper cross-piece connecting second ends of the vertical sides; a lower cross-piece having first and second ends connected to the vertical sides between the first and second ends of the vertical sides; and a pair of horizontal extensions connected to the first and second ends of the lower cross-piece and extending in a direction towards the hooks parallel to the horizontal sides.
Mouthwash bottle with a pump, a toothbrush holder and an insertable cup
A mouthwash dispensing system including a bottle having a base and a top portion. The mouthwash dispensing system includes a pump configured to draw mouthwash out from within the bottle, the pump having a pump neck extending into the bottle and a pump nozzle for guiding the mouthwash out of the bottle. The mouthwash dispensing system further includes a cavity within the top portion and positioned below the pump nozzle, the cavity configured to receive a cup, such that the pump draws the mouthwash out of the bottle and into the cup. The mouthwash dispensing system further includes a toothbrush holder configured to rotate about the pump neck and move between a storage position and a use position, the toothbrush holder limiting movement of the cup within the cavity in the storage position, and holding a toothbrush in the use position.
Management of vehicle fueling safety
A method and associated system for managing vehicle fuel safety. Input from at least one sensor is received. The input indicates that a fuel pump nozzle of a fuel pump is disengaged from the fuel pump or inserted into a vehicle's tank enclosure. The vehicle adjacent to the fuel pump is monitored to detect when the vehicle is preparing to move or is starting to move away from the fuel pump. An alarm is activated indicating that the fuel pump nozzle is disengaged from the fuel pump, or inserted into the vehicle's tank enclosure, and the vehicle is preparing to move or is starting to move.
Liquid dispensing container
A container for holding and dispensing liquid, comprising an elongated body and a lid having a spout and releasable cap. The elongated body comprises a groove therein configured to releasably receive and hold the releasable cap having a similar shape to the groove. The releasable cap itself comprises, on at least one side thereof, an attachment to secure the releasable cap to a wall to releasably hold in place the releasable cap and thereby the container. The container is preferably squeezable to release liquid product from the container through a spout having an o-ring configured to seal the spout and hold the liquid within the container until squeezed.
