Beverage preparation machines
A delivery head for a beverage preparation machine comprising a movable first part and a fixed second part, the first part being movable relative to the second part between an open position and a closed position, in the open position the first part being positioned to enable loading of a cartridge into the delivery head, in the closed position the first part and second part being positioned to hold said cartridge in a dispensing position, the delivery head further comprising an inlet piercer and an outlet piercer, the inlet piercer and the outlet piercer being orientated substantially in the same direction and being pivotable relative to the fixed second part between a retracted position and a piercing position.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FUELING A VEHICLE WITH A FUEL DELIVERY SERVICE
Systems and methods are provided for fueling a vehicle with a fuel delivery service. A telematics unit is adapted for installation on the vehicle and configured to determine a fuel level of the vehicle. A remote server has a database of vehicle scheduling information and is configured to transmit a fueling request to the fuel delivery service. The telematics unit is further configured to transmit a vehicle fueling request to the remote server based on the fuel level of the vehicle. The remote server is further configured to transmit the fueling request based on the vehicle fueling request and the vehicle scheduling information.
Systems and methods of providing sanitary water in a disaster or similar situation
A system and method for dispensing potable fluids wherein a bagged fluid, such as water, is dispensed via a spiked water dispensing device.
Gathering and dispensing scoop with gate valve
A gathering and dispensing scoop with agitating gate valve provides a hemispherically shaped scoop body defining an upper opening, a bottom opening, and a channel extending therebetween. A handle extends radially from an outer peripheral surface of the scoop body. A sector shaped gate valve transects the channel and has a user operable finger tab adjacent to the handle for a user to pivot the gate valve from a first position obstructing the bottom opening to a second position wherein the gate valve no longer obstructs the channel and opens the bottom opening.
Consumable descaling cartridges for a refrigerator appliance
A method of descaling a water dispensing system included in a refrigerator appliance with a water dispenser is disclosed. The method of descaling includes the step of removing a water filter cartridge from a filter port of the refrigerator appliance wherein the filter port is in fluid communication with the water dispenser. The method also includes the step of inserting a descaling cartridge containing descaling fluid into the filter port of the refrigerator appliance. The method further includes the step of advancing the descaling fluid from the descaling cartridge through the water dispenser.
Fuel dispenser locking arrangement
The present invention provides a lockable fuel pump dispenser comprising a fuel outflow nozzle, locking means a transferring unit and a converter unit. The converter unit transferring a mechanical motion rendering a locking unit that is having locking means on the fuel outflow nozzle to fixate the fuel outflow nozzle securely inside a fuel tank of a vehicle. The converter unit comprises a battery, a solenoid or an electrical motor, a computer and a transmitter/receiver unit. The converter unit being able to wirelessly communicate with a unit operated from inside the station. The battery is being charged when the fuel pump handle is placed in the pump station.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRESSURE DISPENSING OF HIGH VISCOSITY LIQUID-CONTAINING MATERIALS
A liner-based pressure dispensing container includes a connector-mounted probe arranged to seat a dip tube against an inner surface of a liner fitment for sealing utility. A dip tube and probe may include increased and/or matched flow area. A reverse flow prevention element can be arranged proximate to a liquid extraction opening to inhibit reverse flow of liquid from a dip tube into a container. A liner-less container may include a reduce diameter lower portion arranged to receive a dip tube, with at least one associated sensor to sense a condition indicative of depletion of liquid from the lower portion. A shipping cap can be included for removing headspace gas from the liner. In one embodiment, the shipping cap is suitable for direct connection to a dispensing process.

Expandable gravity-feed bin
A gravity-feed bin includes a generally hollow main bin having an open end, a storage reservoir and a dispensing chute. The dispensing chute has an opening disposed near a distal end. The bin also includes a gate seal and a dispensing gate movable between open and closed positions. When the dispensing gate is in the closed position the dispensing gate blocks the opening of the dispensing chute and the gate seal forms a seal between the opening and the dispensing gate. A first generally hollow extension section may be selectably coupled to the open end of the main bin. A resilient seal element may be intermediate the open end of the main bin and the first extension section. In some embodiments a gasket lid having a sealing gasket is selectably coupled to the bin.
Multiple Channel Single Spike For A Liquid Dispensing System
A spike for dispensing fluids from a flexible bag, wherein the spike includes multiple fluid channels which transfer liquids from the bag to an enclosed dispensing chamber and air from the enclosed chamber to the bag to permit and control fluid flow within the system.
