Prosthesis cover for a prosthesis, particularly for an artificial leg
The present invention relates to a prosthesis covering (100) with a closed cross-section which comprises a first section (10), a second section (20) and a third section (30). The second section (20) is arranged in longitudinal direction between the first section (10) and the third section (30) and consists of other material than the other two sections. The second section (20) may optionally at least in a first subsection (21) be folded, doubled over, raised, lamella-like or multi-layer.
FINGER PROSTHESIS WITH ADJUSTABLE BIOLOGICAL ACTIVATION
Prosthesis for at least one cut-off finger resulting in a stump at the height of the proximal, middle and/or distal phalange, or in a finger with missing stump. The prosthesis from a modular hinged mechanism allowing for a self-return flexion movement and the activation of said mechanism from at least one force applied to any point of a plane on said mechanism. A prosthesis for a hand with missing stumps is also provided from the wrist movement providing a range of operation greater than the art, wherein said flexion is activated from an extension movement of the wrist.
Dynamic support apparatus
A dynamic support apparatus having a frame, a dynamic interface, a temperature control mechanism, and a control system. The dynamic interface is capable of changing its geometry and is disposed on the top surface of the frame. The control system is operably connected to the dynamic interface and controls the changing geometry of the dynamic interface. There is also a temperature control mechanism disposed on the top surface of the frame for maintaining a comfortable temperature and moisture environment between the apparatus and the user's body.
Apparatus and methods for three dimensional plasthesis prostheses
A prosthesis, radiation bolus, pre-surgical model, or burn mask formed using a rapid prototyping device, such as a three-dimensional printer. In some exemplary aspects, the prosthesis includes a scaffolding and a coating at least partially covering the scaffolding. Methods and systems for forming the prosthesis, radiation bolus, pre-surgical model, or burn mask are also provided.

Volume adjustable transtibial socket
A transtibial socket for a prosthetic lower limb includes a mesh arranged between rigid struts. The mesh includes a plurality of support members and a plurality of tensile members, optionally in combination with spacer members arranged between different support members. At least one tensioning member coupled with the tensile member extends through of past guides in the struts to an adjustable tensioning apparatus that is configured to allow the mesh to be constricted radially by the amputee-user. The mesh allows for the heat dissipation and volume adjustment, while increasing contact area and force distribution around a residual limb.

The invention relates to a method for producing a breast prosthesis (1) having an adjustable volume, wherein the breast prosthesis comprises a first shell body (10), a second shell body (20) which is circumferentially connected thereto, and a fluid chamber (30) arranged between the shell bodies, wherein the method comprises the following steps: (a) peripherally connecting four plastic films to provide a template comprising three chambers; (b) filling the upper and lower chambers with a crosslinkable silicone filler; and (c) crosslinking the silicone filler.
METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING DATA
The invention relates to a method for transmitting data between a prosthesis system and an input device, wherein the prosthesis system has a plurality of prosthesis components which have at least one electronic and/or mechatronic component, wherein the prosthesis system is connected to the input device via at least one interface, wherein at least two electronic and/or mechatronic components, in a state when connected to the prosthesis components, are together connected to the input device, and data are transmitted or exchanged via the one input device.
Methods, devices, and systems for the fabrication of materials and tissues utilizing electromagnetic radiation
The present invention provides a three-dimensional bioprinter for fabricating cellular constructs such as tissues and organs using electromagnetic radiation (EMR) at or above 405 nm. The bioprinter includes a material deposition device comprising a cartridge for receiving and holding a composition which contains biomaterial that cures after exposure to EMR. The bioprinter also includes an EMR module that emits EMR at a wavelength of about 405 nm or higher. Also provided is a bioprinter cartridge which contains cells and a material curable at a wavelength of about 405 nm or greater. The cells are present in a chamber and are extruded through an orifice to form the cellular construct.
ENVELOPING BODY AND METHOD FOR DETECTING A CONTOUR OF AN AMPUTATION STUMP
The invention relates to an enveloping body for at least partially recording a contour of a limb, wherein the enveloping body has a base body, and at least one sensor that is configured to record measurement data which can be used to determine a distance and/or relative position between two points in or on the base body.
