A rein system including a set of reins, in combination with at least one glove to be worn by a rider. The set of reins are attachable to a bit on a horse to thereby form a loop. The set of reins have a left side and a ride side, the left side have a first gripping section with a first portion and a second portion and the right side have a second gripping section with a third portion and a fourth portion. The glove has a mechanical fastener thereon such that when the glove is worn by the rider and the rider grasps one of the first gripping section or the second gripping section with the glove, the glove is mechanically fastened to the appropriate gripping section. The mechanical fastener of the glove is inset in the glove and flush or recessed with the surface of the glove.

An adjustment structure of bridle including a bridle, rotating shaft, and a knob is provided. The bridle has a rack. The rotating shaft has a first ring gear and a second ring gear both around an axis, wherein the first ring gear is coupled to the rack, such that the rotating shaft moves along the bridle by rotating about the axis itself The knob is rotated about the axis and moved along the axis to be movably coupled to the rotating shaft. The knob has a third ring gear to be engaged with or released from the second ring gear by the knob moving along the axis. When the third ring gear is engaged with the second ring gear, the knob is forced to drive the rotating shaft to rotate about the axis.

A method of mitigating the risk of a horse fleeing and becoming lost, comprising: fastening a horse-stopping apparatus to a horse, wherein the horse stopping apparatus for slowing and stopping the horse after a rider has been involuntarily separated, comprises: a leading segment configured to be detachably fastened to the horse's head piece; a trample segment fastened to the leading segment; and, a trailing segment detachably fastened to the trample segment and also configured to be connected to the rider; whereby if the rider is involuntarily separated from the horse, the trailing segment will extend the trample segment and the forward motion of the horse will carry the trample segment under the hooves of the horse; whereby the hooves of the horse will trample the trample segment thereby pulling the horse's head downwardly and thereby slowing and stopping the horse.
