Folding patterns and loading funnel for improved transcatheter valve loading forces
A loading assembly for crimping and loading a prosthetic heart valve into a delivery device includes a loading base, a base funnel, and a compression member. The loading base has a support and a body extending from the support with a recess defined within the body. The recess is configured to receive a substantial portion of the annulus section of the heart valve in an at least partially collapsed condition. The base funnel is configured to be coupled to the loading base and to at least partially collapse the annulus section of the heart valve as it is inserted into the recess in the loading base. The compression member is configured to be coupled to the loading base with the heart valve inserted in the recess for further collapsing the heart valve and loading it into the delivery device.
STENT GRAFT WITH A LONGITUDINAL SUPPORT MEMBER
A delivery system for delivering and deploying stent grafts having a proximal stent includes a first lumen and a stent capture device including a capture portion fixedly connected adjacent a first lumen distal end. An outer catheter has a catheter distal end and a catheter inner diameter. A second lumen having a second distal end is slidably disposed about the first lumen and within the outer catheter. A stent graft sheath has a sheath proximal end connected to the second distal end and disposed about the first lumen. The sheath has a sheath distal end and a sheath inner diameter greater than the catheter inner diameter for holding a compressed stent graft. A distal nose cone has a cone proximal end connected to either the capture portion or the first distal end. The nose cone and the capture portion are movably adjustable to selectively capture the sheath distal end therebetween.

DELIVERY GUIDE WIRE AND THERAPEUTIC DEVICE
A delivery guide wire (10,100) and a therapeutic device are disclosed. The therapeutic device includes the delivery guide wire (10, 100), a medical implant and a delivery catheter (20). The delivery guide wire (10, 100) includes a core shaft (110) and a driving member (120) disposed on the core shaft (110), and the driving member (120) defines thereon a depression. The medical implant is compressed by the delivery catheter (20) and disposed over the delivery guide wire (10,100) in such a manner that it is at least partially received in the depression. This results in an increased contact area between the medical implant and the delivery guide wire (10, 100), which facilitates movement of the medical implant in sync with the delivery guide wire (10, 100) and makes its delivery easier.

MEDICAL DEVICE LOADING TOOL
Example medical device loading devices are disclosed. An example loading device for a stent-valve includes an elongated body having a proximal end region, a distal end region and a lumen extending therein. The loading device also includes a collar coupled to the distal end region of the body, the collar including first end region, a second end region and a lumen extending therein. Further, the loading device includes a first compression assembly coupled to the collar, wherein the first compression assembly is configured to shift between a first position a second position. The loading device also includes a second compression assembly coupled to the collar, wherein the second compression assembly is configured to shift between a third position and a fourth position.
Apparatus and methods for dilating and modifying ostia of paranasal sinuses and other intranasal or paranasal structures
Sinusitis and other disorders of the ear, nose and throat are diagnosed and/or treated using minimally invasive approaches with flexible or rigid instruments. Various methods and devices are used for remodeling or changing the shape, size or configuration of a sinus ostium or duct or other anatomical structure in the ear, nose or throat; implanting a device, cells or tissues; removing matter from the ear, nose or throat; delivering diagnostic or therapeutic substances or performing other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Introducing devices (e.g., guide catheters, tubes, guidewires, elongate probes, other elongate members) may be used to facilitate insertion of working devices (e.g. catheters e.g. balloon catheters, guidewires, tissue cutting or remodeling devices, devices for implanting elements like stents, electrosurgical devices, energy emitting devices, devices for delivering diagnostic or therapeutic agents, substance delivery implants, scopes etc.) into the paranasal sinuses or other structures in the ear, nose or throat.

IMPLANTABLE MEDICAL DEVICE AND ASSEMBLY
Disclosed is a false lumen closure assembly for closing a false lumen in a body vessel including a compressed false lumen occluder, a carrier catheter and a retractable sheath. The compressed false lumen occluder includes a stent graft including at least one occlusive barrier across the stent graft to occlude blood flow through an interior of the stent graft. The carrier catheter carries the false lumen occluder and extends from a proximal end proximal of the false lumen occluder to a distal end distal of the false lumen occluder, and passes the false lumen occluder exteriorly of the stent graft. The compressed false lumen occluder and at least part of the carrier catheter are disposed in a lumen of the retractable sheath.
Stent delivery system having retention structure
A stent delivery system including an elongate shaft of a medical device, a stent selectively coupled to a distal portion of the elongate shaft, and a coupling mechanism for selectively coupling the stent to the elongate shaft by inserting a tab on one of the stent or the elongate shaft into an opening in the other of the stent or the elongate shaft. The tab may be deflected from a first position to a second position to disengage the tab from the opening.
