Garment

A smart animal garment 1, such as a horse blanket 1, for an animal 5 in which the garment 1 can extend around the chest area 8a, shoulders 27 and towards the hindquarters of the animal 5 and is fitted with sensors 3 for monitoring the health and wellbeing of the animal 5 and the data parameters detected by the sensors 3 are communicable to a stable mounted communications hub 6 via a monitor 4 located for example at the chest portion 8a of the garment 1.

EQUINE SADDLE PAD DISPLAY SYSTEM
20200346918 · 2020-11-05 ·

A saddle pad display system is disclosed, especially for equine use wherein a strap loop is mounted on the pad horizontally and the display is mounted via a pair of vertical loops. This system makes it easier to add and remove the display quickly and efficiently, ensuring repetitive results. This is especially useful for a competitor or exhibitor display number.

ANATOMICAL PAD AND SADDLE ASSEMBLY
20200207607 · 2020-07-02 ·

An anatomical pad of a saddle for horse riding, comprising a flexible body defining a first body surface configured to abut against a seat surface of the saddle, and a second body surface intended to support a user of the saddle and separated from the first surface by the thickness of the pad is provided. The anatomical pad comprises a portion of yielding material to at least partially cushion the stresses between the saddle and the user, the portion of yielding material defining one or more pressure relief sites wherein the thickness of the yielding material is at least partially decreased to reduce, in a localized way, contact pressure between the seat surface and an anatomical area of the user.

Saddle girth for equestrian sport
11873211 · 2024-01-16 ·

A girth for equine sports includes an outside, and an inside intended to rest against a horse's body. A pressure-relieving pad is arranged in the region in which the girth is intended to extend over the sternum of the horse. The pad includes a cushioning material that protrudes further inwards beyond the inside of the girth and a channel of reduced pad thickness. The cushioning material is thicker on either side of the channel, and the channel is intended to extend in front of the sternum while the cushioning material on either side of the sternum is intended to rest against the horse's body.

Saddle comprising a central part having a top surface for providing a seat to a rider, a lower surface having a curvature for adapting to a back of a horse, elongated pad members coupled to said central part for forming a cushion, connecting places for mechanically coupling a reinforcing member to said central part for imposing a given curvature to said lower surface. The saddle is characterized in that it further comprises a hinge, mechanically coupled to the lower surface of the central part, for facilitating a modification of said curvature, and for coupling a reinforcing member to said central part, said connecting places being located on a portion of the hinge that is accessible from the lower surface of the central part.

Method of manufacturing an equine protective covering

A method of manufacturing an equine protective covering by applying a stamp comprises a profiled shape with a predetermined temperature and pressure to the interior side of the cushion assembly. The first synthetic fabric layer and the second neoprene layer are permanently bonded. The second neoprene layer is plastically deformed such that the profiled shape of the stamp is permanently transferred to the second neoprene layer. The plastic deformation of the second neoprene layer is such that the perforations remain open.
