SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORMING A FOUNDATION TRUSS
A system and method for forming a foundation truss for a box spring or mattress foundation frame includes a first truss rail assembly station having a series of block feeders, a top rail hopper and a filler strip hopper that received stacks of truss components such as blocks, top rails and filler strips and feed such truss components into stacked registration. The stacked truss components are moved into engagement with a series of staplers that secure the filler strips, top rails and blocks together to form first truss rail portions, which are then fed to a second truss rail assembly station where a bottom rail is automatically applied thereto.
Sheet fastener
A sheet fastener includes a first fastening member having a long size and a second fastening member having a long size. The first fastening member includes: a first main body portion including a secured surface; a first engagement portion; a plurality of first slit portions formed along an intersecting direction; and a first continuous portion continuous along a longitudinal direction. The second fastening member includes: a second main body portion including a secured surface; a second engagement portion; a plurality of second slit portions formed along an intersecting direction; and a second continuous portion continuous along a longitudinal direction. By using the sheet fastener according to the present invention, the sheet edge portion, which is curved, of the second sheet member can be easily and smoothly fastened with the sheet edge portion, which is curved, of the first sheet member.

End Member for Fastening Cover Material
There is provided a cover-material fastening end member including a band-shaped member and a locking member. The locking member is formed such that a width thereof in a direction perpendicular to a surface of the band-shaped member is wider than a width of the band-shaped member. The locking member includes: a center plate-shaped portion, a flange portion, and a plurality of rib portions. The flange portion has a surface extending along a longitudinal direction of the end edge portion of the band-shaped member and perpendicular to a surface of the center plate-shaped portion. The rib portions each has a surface intersecting with the center plate-shaped portion and the flange portion. The rib portions are provided on the center plate-shaped portion along the longitudinal direction of the center plate-shaped portion at predetermined intervals.
VARIABLE CONTOUR PILLOW AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
Variable contour pillow and method of making the same, comprising: a pillow cover preferably with internal seams, a plurality of internal interconnecting members that define the thickness and/or taper of the pillow in desired locations along the length and/or width of the pillow, the method comprising steps of attaching the interconnecting members during the process of filling the pillow, alternately preferably hand filling behind an interconnecting member, interconnecting the interconnecting member, filling in front of the first interconnecting member and a next interconnecting member, interconnecting the next interconnecting member, and so on, until the pillow is completely filled and desired multiple levels of fill and/or surface tapers are achieved, with specific application to construction of a form-fitting body pillow with variable shape and thickness of fill material.

Chair arm assembly
A chair assembly includes a four-bar arrangement that includes a lower end and an upper end where the upper end is adjustable between a raised position and a lowered position, and an arm rest assembly adapted to support the arm of a seated user thereon and supported on an upper end of the four-bar arrangement, wherein the lower end of the four-bar arrangement is pivotably supported from an arm support structure for pivotable movement about an arm pivot axis, such that the upper end of the four-bar arrangement is movable between a first position and second position located laterally outward from the first position, and wherein the arm pivot axis is angularly offset from a vertical axis.
CHAIR ASSEMBLY WITH UPHOLSTERY COVERING
A chair assembly includes an arm assembly that includes an armrest supported by a vertically adjustable support assembly and an arm base, where the arm base extends at an acute angle with respect to a longitudinal centerline of the chair assembly, an upholstery arrangement including a ring member attached to a cover, where the ring member includes a plurality of reliefs having a width that reduces as the ring member is wrapped about a shell member of the chair assembly, and a control arrangement having a biasing member that moves through an arcuate path as the biasing member is adjusted between varying bias settings.
