An electric working machine and method for assembling the same that do not require specific jigs, so as to facilitate assembling work and reduce man-hours and production cost. A motor assembly is relatively inserted into a body casing, with a mounting base disposed behind a partitioning wall portion allowing a tubular fixture to project through an insertion hole toward the front of the partitioning wall portion, and a temporarily securing mechanism temporarily secures the motor assembly to retain the position of the motor assembly by automatically moving it in rotating and two orthogonal directions on a plane along the partitioning wall portion, so as to coaxially arrange the tubular fixture and insertion hole, and through-hole and screw hole of the mounting base for screwing the bolt. In such a temporarily secured state, the motor assembly is finally secured by screwing the bolt through the through-hole into the screw hole of the mounting base.

A pruning device comprises a pair of cooperating blades that are pivoted together and handle parts movable to and from each other for a user to operate the cooperating blades. A saw blade part is attachable to and detachable from the device by a user. When the saw blade part is attached to the device the handle parts and cooperating blades are retained in a substantially fixed position relative to each other. When the saw blade part is detached from the device the handle parts and cooperating blades are movable relative to each other.

A rotary blade of the trimming device can be replaced.

A system for prioritizing trim requests can include an image processor that identifies a location associated with a customer trim request that includes an image of vegetation and industrial equipment and marks the vegetation and the industrial equipment visible in the image associated with the customer trim request. The system can also include a vegetation maintenance analyzer that searches for a match between the identified location associated with the customer trim request with a location associated with one of a past executed service ticket and a pending service ticket. The maintenance analyzer generates a maintenance profile for the customer trim request based on the results of the search and data in the customer trim request. The system can further include a priority engine that assigns priority to the customer trim request based on the maintenance profile for the customer trim request.

An extension pole system includes an extension pole and a foot brace coupled to a lower end of the extension pole. The upper end of the extension pole is configured to releasably couple to an attachment. The foot brace is configured to receive a foot of a user. The extension pole is comprised of a plurality of extension sections and a plurality of locking collars configured to releasably lock the extension sections in place. Each extension section is slidably engaged with at least one adjacent extension section, wherein the extension pole is configured to transition between a collapsed orientation and an extended orientation. Applying downward force on a base portion of the foot brace is configured to stabilize the extension pole in the vertical position, wherein the user is able to use both of his/her hands to transition the extension pole between the collapsed orientation and the extended orientation.

The invention relates to a branch cutter (10), namely a motor-powered tool having a circular saw blade used for cutting tree branches and the like. The periphery of the saw blade is at least partially covered by a protective housing (24), the housing having a first opening (52) to expose a first portion of the periphery of the saw blade, and a second opening (54) to expose a second portion of the periphery of the saw blade. The provision of two housing openings exposing two portions of the periphery of the saw blade increases the utility and ease of use of the branch cutter.

A handheld lawn maintenance tool having a power head to which an adapter is attachable to allow both battery-powered and gasoline-powered working attachments to be attached thereto. Embodiments are directed to a plant trimmer. The plant trimmer may separate leaves or other peripheral plant matter from a body portion of a plant. In one aspect, an embodiment includes a rotatable basket having a set of ribs separated by openings in a basket sidewall and a cutting assembly having at least one blade. The rotatable basket may be configured to spin in a first direction. The cutting assembly may be configured to spin parallel to the rotatable basket and in a second direction, opposite the first direction. Plant matter extending through one of the openings in the sidewall of the rotatable basket maybe sheared by a cutting face of the blade and a rib of the rotatable basket.
