Oral appliance
An oral appliance includes an upper arched frame, an upper moldable tray coupled to the upper arched frame, a lower arched frame, and a lower moldable tray coupled to the lower arched frame. The upper arched frame includes a first tab and a second tab being positioned, with respect to each other, on opposite sides of a plane substantially bisecting the upper arched frame. The lower arched frame includes a third tab extending from the lower arched frame.
MANDIBULAR ADVANCEMENT DEVICE AND METHOD
A mandibular advancement device is disclosed. An upper component and a lower component are used as splints on the maxilla and mandible. A wire may be mounted to the lower components at the molar buccal sides. The wire passes through a channel on the anterior of the upper component, in a slidable fashion. The channel may be circular or have a cross-sectional shape including a flat side. A forward shield cushions or protects the interior of the oral cavity as the wire may move back and forth. The device may be made entirely of plastic or biocompatible materials.
Positional obstructive sleep apnea detection system
An obstructive sleep apnea detection device including an optical engagement surface adapted to engage a user's skin; a light source adapted to emit light from the optical engagement surface; a photodetector adapted to detect light at the optical engagement surface and to generate a detected light signal; a position sensor adapted to determine patient sleeping position; a controller adapted to determine and record in memory blood oxygen saturation values computed from the detected light signal and user position information from the position sensor; and a housing supporting the optical engagement surface, the photodetector, the light source, the position sensor, and the controller.

MOUTHPIECE
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a mouthpiece that has an excellent fit and that is not prone to breakage or deformation. This mouthpiece for solving the above problem has: a pair of mouthpiece body parts configured from an upper-jaw mouthpiece body part mounted to the upper jaw, and a lower-jaw mouthpiece body part mounted to the lower jaw; a positioning member for restricting rearward displacement of the lower-jaw mouthpiece body part; and a support part that is disposed between the positioning member and the body parts and that supports the positioning member, so as to cover a portion of a surface that faces a surface of the upper-jaw mouthpiece body part and/or the lower-jaw mouthpiece body part that is mounted to a tooth row, the support part including a material that has a different flexural modulus than the mouthpiece body parts.
ORAL APPLIANCE
An oral appliance covers maxillary dentition of a wearer and includes tongue tamers or spikes projecting posteriorly, and a lingual resting platform defining an aperture therethrough configured to receive a tip of the wearer's tongue. The oral appliance eliminates an anterior resting posture of the tongue and an abnormal anterior motion of the tongue, and deters noxious oral habits.
Valved nasal cannula
A valved nasal cannula adapted to provide a positive pressure in the airway using the breathing of the intended user as a source of positive pressure without the need for an external source of energy and/or compressed air. The cannula is designed so as to be relatively easily insertable and retractable into and from the nasal vestibule portion of the nose of the intended user without requiring manual dexterity.

Apparatus for Prevention of Apnea
The present invention relates to an automated stimulation device for inducing a tactile inter-stimulus onset asynchrony (ISOA) effect in a subject suffering from apnea, bradycardia and/or hypoxia, the device comprising at least two actuators configured for contacting a body portion of the subject, and interspaced for producing an apparent tactile movement in the subject upon sequential induction of actuation, wherein the duration of the actuations and the overlap in actuation time between the at least two actuators is controlled to attain an inter stimulus onset asynchrony (ISOA).
SLEEP APNEA AND ANTI-SNORING SYSTEM
A micro, single piece, tubeless, cordless, directly inserted oral, nasal or hybrid sleep apnea treatment/anti-snoring device having controlled positive air-flow using a vibrationally isolated micro-blower to maintain an individual's upper airway unobstructed (pharynx area) with or without lower jaw, mandibular advancement is disclosed.
