Sleep headset
Embodiments of the present invention provide a sleep headset, which includes: a face slimming strap made of a flexible and elastic breathable material and including a main functioning part that fits a face and a lower mandible on two sides, and first connecting parts extending from two ends of the main functioning part, wherein each of the first connecting parts is provided with a detachable connection structure to enable the face slimming strap to be detachably connected and adjust tightness of the main functioning part against the face and the lower mandible; at least one speaker built in the face slimming strap and disposed at positions corresponding to human ears of a head; and a control box disposed on the face slimming strap or on an eye mask and electrically connected to the speaker. The sleep headset of the present invention can relieve discomfort brought about by the headset during sleep; and moreover, the face slimming strap can realize a face slimming function during sleep.
DENTAL APPLIANCE AND METHOD OF USE FOR DENTAL ARCH AND/OR AIRWAY DEVELOPMENT
A succession of dental appliances may be used to provide airway remodeling. The airway remodeling may provide for treatment of snoring or sleep disordered breathing. The dental appliances may have an outside wall, an inside wall, and a channel to receive a dental arch between the inside wall and the outside wall. The inside wall may extend so as to apply pressure to a bone structure, when worn by a user. The succession of dental appliances may have successively greater arch widths and/or lengths.
ADJUSTMENT MEANS FOR A MANDIBULAR ADVANCEMENT DEVICE
The present invention provides adjustment means for a mandibular advancement device. The device includes both intraoral and extraoral portions. The intraoral portion includes a body portion. The body portion includes lower and upper plates. The lower plate is adapted to accommodate a pair of opposed arms that extend rearwardly and outwardly from the plate into the oral cavity when the device is worn. Each arm includes a posterior intraoral maxillary abutment surface. The lower plate includes a threaded hole on each side, adjacent a respective arm so that the threaded hole extends from the respective arm towards the edge of the plate. Each hole is adapted to receive a screw that is able to be screwed into the threaded hole, and when the screw has been sufficiently screwed, the inner end of the screw contacts its respective arm whereupon further turning of the screw forces the arm to move towards its opposite arm so that the position of the moved arm's posterior intraoral maxillary abutment surface is moved to a new position.

Biological information analysis device, biological information analysis system, program, and biological information analysis method
A biological information analyzing device includes: an indicator extraction unit that extracts an indicator pertaining to a characteristic of a blood pressure waveform using data of the blood pressure waveform obtained by a sensor, which is worn on a user's body and can non-invasively measure the blood pressure waveform for each of heartbeats, continuously measuring the blood pressure waveform; and a processing unit that carries out a process based on the extracted indicator.

Coupling member, and mouthpiece equipped with coupling member
A coupling member includes a sliding member and a sleeve. The sliding member has one axial direction end portion coupled to a first attachment portion provided at a first attachment that is mounted to one of a maxilla or a mandible. The sleeve has one axial direction end portion coupled to a second attachment portion provided at a second attachment that is mounted to the other of the maxilla and the mandible. The sliding member is inserted into the sleeve so as to be slidable. A restricting section is formed at the sleeve between two axial direction end portions of the sleeve so as to restrict sliding of the sliding member in both directions along an axial direction of the sliding member.
Methods and devices for treating sleep apnea
An intraoral stimulation device configured to be positioned in a mouth of a patient. The device includes a sensor and one or more electrodes. The sensor is configured to monitor a position of the tongue and/or force exerted by the tongue against the sensor and to transmit a signal encoding tongue information. The electrode(s) is/are configured to deliver electrical stimuli to the patient's hard palate when the tongue information indicates that the tongue has moved from a desired position to an undesired position in the mouth. The electrical stimuli causes the tongue to move from the undesired position to the desired position.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SNORING DETECTION AND PREVENTION
Sleep management systems and methods detect and prevent snoring by monitoring sounds of a sleeping person. A monitoring system receives the detected snoring sound signal and generates a harmonic fingerprint of the sleeping person. A snoring score is generated and a signal is transmitted to an alert generation unit if the snoring score is above a threshold value. An alert is generated alerts to stimulate the sleeping person to transition between sleep-states enabling opening of the upper airways and reduced or stopped snoring sound.
VIBRATIONAL ORAL APPLIANCE WITH MANDIBULAR ADVANCEMENTS
Described herein is an oral appliance. The oral appliance includes upper and lower trays that each include at least one axial spring configured to contact a palatal/lingual surface of at least one tooth, where each axial spring is coupled to the respective upper or lower tray, and where each axial spring is configured to produce and transmit intermittent, cyclic forces to the palatal/lingual surface of the tooth to promote palatal and upper/lower jaw development. The upper and lower trays each include an expansion mechanism to enable adjustment of the size of the upper and lower trays to account for palatal expansion and upper and lower jaw development. The oral appliance includes first and second adjustable hinge arms that are removably connected to the upper and lower trays so that the oral appliance advances the mandible to provide temporary relief from sleep disordered breathing, sleep apnea and/or snoring.
